MSG(R) Richard McGill Simenton, 80, died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2005, in Highsmith-Rainey Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Chapter 1-18 in Fayetteville, NC
Richard was an Army veteran of World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. He retired as a Master Sergeant. He was an Original joining Special Forces in 1952. Richard served with the 10th, 77th, 7th, 5th and 6th SFGs.
Services: Funeral, 11 a.m. Sept. 24, 2005 (Saturday) in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home Chapel in Fayetteville, NC. Interment at a later date.
Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 23, 2005 (Friday) at the funeral home.
