There used to be a great parody website called PETA.com. It stood for People Eating Tasty Animals. PETA.org sued them and they shut down. Too bad...it was hilarious.

As I sit here on my lounge looking at my 42kg rottie rescued from death row at the pound, who is currently sprawled lengthways next to me on the lounge after partaking of some cooked rice (cooked in beef stock naturally) with chicken pieces, sardines and veges, prepared and served by me, after spending a day stretched out on green grass in the sun chewing on a bone, with the occasional play with his mate thrown in, while I sat for 10 hrs in a small artificially lit cubicle so I could pay for it, I ask myself

PETA is right, it is far more "humane" to let deer starve to death or die of chronic wasting disease then to cull the herd a little.
