Could we have a Pacific area added to the area studies? The US has an interest in the area (Western Samoa), Tonga will probably rise up in the next six months to a year and Fiji is always good for a reliable coup.
Any thoughts from Higher?

Not that anyone ever listens to me :rolleyes: , but the AOR referred to as "Asia" in the Area Studies section actually refers to the Asia-Pacific AOR of the U.S. Pacific Command (PACOM) (http://www.pacom.mil/), and by extension Special Operations Command Pacific (SOCPAC) (http://www.pacom.mil/staff/socpac/index.shtml).
The forums are oriented toward the areas covered by the regional commands and their corresponding special operations component commands. The Special Forces Groups have their primary orientation to these regions; thus, this is the AOR of 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne).
I would have called it "Asia-Pacific". ;)
