Does anyone have any contact information for his family. A guy on my team went through the course with him, and would like to write to his dad.
If anyone can help, just PM me.

Just reading the story of Chris Falkel's life, "The Making of Our Warrior", and wanted to take a moment to thank him and his family (including his extended family of brothers) for raising him right.
Thanks for your service, Chris. You will not be forgotten.
Each and every one of our fallen brothers listed here was someone's son, and in most cases, someone's brother, husband, or father. There is a story behind each of them, and many lives that they touched in their brief years on this Earth.
Thanks for sharing your son's story, Jeff Falkel.

God Bless,Rest in Peace Warrior.....:(
He was just a simple soldier and his ranks are growing thin
But his presence should remind us; we may need his like again,
For when countries are in conflict, then we find the soldier's part
Is to clean up all the troubles that the politicians start.
If we cannot do him honor while he's here to hear the praise,
Then at least let's give him homage at the ending of his days.......:(
Perhaps just a simple headline in the paper that might say:
OUR COUNTRY IS IN MOURNING, FOR A SOLDIER DIED TODAY. (author unknown)
The passing of our soldiers often go unnoticed and unsung by most of the world, remembered only by family and friends. Wish it were not so. May he RIP, his family will be in my thoughts and prayers.........:(
I realize it's a Canadian song, however I believe most appropriate for this occasion........:(

RIP Chris.
Jeff: You, Dianne and Tim have my prayers today.
I never told you how much I appreciated your story of Chris. It was difficult to read, and I often had to put it down and go off and collect my emotions. But it's a powerful story I wish all Americans knew. Not of loss, but of hope and family and carrying on. Making the sacrifice mean something.
I'll never be able to imagine your loss, but I am forever inspired by your productive life since then - telling your story through the book, the great bullet pens, your numerous travels and speaking engagements. You had every reason to give up, climb into bed in a dark room and never come out again. But your choice and your action speaks volumes about you and your 'extended' family. And, BTW, whenever I see a large bird of prey in the sky, I think of you and Chris! ;)
All the best to you today and every day.

To my PS.com family!
Thank you so much for ALL your thoughts, your prayers, and your love for me and my warrior! It is your strength that sustains me.
This is the first 8 August that I was not "home" at Bragg. I took Chris' younger brother up into the mountains and we shot Chris' weapons together! It was the first time Tim had ever fired a weapon, so it is most appropriate and meaningful to do it today and with the weapons Chris "made as only Chris could!" Chris and I used to go to the same area of the mountains to "train" years and years ago, so it was just where we needed to be today!
I can never thank all of my PS.com family for ALL you have done for me, all you mean to me, and all I am because of ALL of you - but I will spend the rest of my life trying.
I love you all with all I am!
