Afternoon all,
I found these pics on MilitaryPhotos.net. I thought they would be of interest to a few people around here. I know they were to me.

Thanks Huey, saw quite a few old friends including Miller, CMH winner, that our compound is named after.
Nice pics Huey.
Thanks.

Pretty good compilation of pics. This day and age you get to see a good amount of pics from the front. These are some good ones from that era.
Thanks for sharing.
I have a co-worker that claims to have worked with Franklin Miller while he was in Hawaii. Just wanted to know if anyone could confirm if he was an instructor at the Recondo school there. I'll have to nail down a timeframe. Says that CSM (SFC at the time) was a hell of a teacher and was a combat vet that was well recieved by his students.
I have to say, the pic that I like most is the one of the Huey (I think it's RAAF) with the guys on the ladder underneath. And at altitude!

Miller was at CCC while I was there. Ask your co-worker how Miller was addressed in an informal manner. Was it Frank ??
Just curious.

When was your co-worker in Hawaii?
TR
My co-worker at the time was a fresh LT and was assigned to the school. It's safe to say that he didn't initially address him as Frank due to the fact that he had yet to go to SE Asia as an officer. I'll get some more info.
I know that the timeframe he talked of was after CSM Miller recieved the CMOH.
I'll see who else he knew at the school. I'm not trying to discredit him unless he's filling me full of BS. I guess we'll see.
Awsome pics, great inspiration for my LRRP collection :munchin
Thanks.
What an awe inspiring collection of pictures. Thanks Huey! And thanks to all the warriors in the photos. Great job!!!
