In case anyone is interested, I would like to give a heads up of a Linux (available for other unices) program called Xcwcp. It will read IMC for you at a user defined tone, speed and volume. It can read from various groups (EISH5, TMO0, AUV4, and so on, special characters, words, all alphanumeric, etc). The characters in each group are randomly picked and put together in groups of five, except for the word groups.
It can receive keyboard tapped IMC and print the characters on the screen. I don't think this latter function is of equal use.

Hi Martin,
Where do you download the program?

Hi Sir,
In Ubuntu, and other Debian based systems, you can just type this at a command prompt (or use Synaptic the graphical front end) to install and start it:
apt-get install xcwcp && xcwcp

If you use Linspire, click on the link on their page (http://www.linspire.com/lindows_products_details.php?product_id=7963).

RPMfind.net (http://www.rpmfind.net) has it available for RedHat and other RPM based distributions.
I think there's an apt utility for RPM-based systems. That'd make it easier, try the command listed for Debian.

If you have any problems and want help, you can send a PM.

I forgot to add, on rpmfind, the package name is unixcw instead of xcwcp... don't ask me why that is, since after install the start file is still xcwcp.
