OK, there were almost 100 quotes nominated, so I had to pare them down quite a bit. I'm going to do two semifinal polls, each with 10 quotes I thought were best among the nominees. For those of you who think I left something good out, post it in the thread. The final poll will contain the top 4 from each semifinal poll, plus two quotes that were omitted from the semifinals but renominated. You can vote for as many or as few as you like.
They are grouped pretty much in chron order, so if the groupings aren't "fair," that's too bad. :p
1.Hey, how did that big European War gig you were working on for the past 50 years turn out?
Did you kill them in the Fulda like you planned?

3.I cannot remember all the bones I've broken. I can remember how many times I've been burnt so bad I had to stay in the hospital for a week, or the few times I've been operated on by military doctors.
How do I deal with pain management?
I think about all those that didn’t make it back.
And the pain eases.
I think about those who did return but have lost arms and legs.
And my pain shrinks.
I think about all those kids that are missing fathers and the pain they deal with daily.
My pain all but abates.
I think no matter how bad I feel I’d do it all over again, in a New York minute, and I would.
And of course there’s Motrin for the real shitty days…

5.I'd have to see the whole program to be fair, but I don't really care for it. It's too complicated, especially for level one. Too much, "Do this, and then do this, then move this leg here, then slide..." See what I mean?
I like, "Stop his foot! Gouge his eye! Hit him in the face with entrenching tool! Bronco stomp his head! Move out and draw fire!"
Plus my goal is not to end up sitting on top of him, my goal is to end up standing in a puddle of what was him.

8.The bottom line is there is no way to stop it. But you gotta love the work. There's just something satisfying about watching a lab burn in the jungle first thing in the morning or seeing them standing in front of a camera and behind a table with all their snow and guns piled on it and their shirts pulled over their heads trying to hide their faces. And I love extradition days. Just knowing what awaits them when they lock down with Bubba later that night. Of course shooting them in the face always brightens a day.
