Found this gem at www.archive.org, a website that hosts a ton of old stock footage and other neat stuff.
imdb description: Academy Award winning documentary on the pivotal naval battle of the war in the Pacific. Filmed while the attack on Midway Island was underway, standout director John Ford was actually injured during filming.
