CG wanted me to tell everyone he has been unable to access the site for a few weeks now, something about it being blocked on his end. (non tech geek here :D ) But he is doing well, and sends his regards. He hopes to be back on here soon, he's moving to a new AO in the sand and received a promo!

The Army blocks this site but the Air Force doesn't. Go figure.

Talk to your DOIM or IT Officer about it.

If it becomes an issue again I will. The thing is people don't grasp the concept of a "message board" as an actual tool, viewing it as a "waste of time" or a "bandwidth hog" or whatever. When I was at BAF one of my guys mentioned I was always on this site or SOCNET it seemed (to him) and I took some ribbing over it until I pointed out that I actually did use the connection from these boards to overcome obstacles, exchange UNCLAS but not easily googled information, and meet people. One instance in particular over airlift made him a believer....

Not everyone understands that information is a weapon.

C G:

This is not a "message board"!

It is in fact, a Fraternal Order of SOF personnel.

That's what I tell my wife, anyway.

Terry ;)

My apologies, Cap'n. I'd knock 'em out but as a contractor I'll have to forego the ice cream bar at chow tomorrow as penance. :)

Damn!

I wouldn't want to be responsible for you missing out on your "ice cream bar"! :D

Stay safe.
