I want to purchase a compression sack and their are alot of brands on the market. Can a BTDT help me before I head downrange?

Outdoor Research has a bunch of models...all of them top notch. In addition, the military pricing is about 60% off. Call them and ask for the mil sales gal. I can't remember her name, though.

No a BTDT but stay away from wal mart, the plastic buckles break right apart

Depends what you want it for...just to shrink stuff to fit into a ruck? is it going to be in a wet environment?

I need it to replace the CIF issue and strap under my TT assualt pack. Probably won't see much water but would rather have it h20proof anyway. Ill look into the outdoor research. Thanks. If anyone else has anything I would appreciate it. This is a great site and I'm glad no one blasted me.
