Currently reading American Soldier by Gen. Tommy Franks. 3/4 done. It's a smooth easy read that follows the former CINC Centcom from childhood to Vietnam and through the progression of his career. It opens the curtains a little to provide some insight to the post 9/11 planning at the highest levels. I think it is a good read.
