Hey Fellas I need help.

My Passport expired last year & I need to get it renewed ASAP. The mail-in forms said 4-6 weeks, but I need it much sooner. Any ideas on how I can get it much sooner?

If you live near a PP office you can go there and get it renewed the same day. The process will take ALL DAY.

There is an office in New Orleans that you can get it same day. I don't know where you are located, but call and find the nearest regional office.

Houston, TX.

Thanks Gents, I think I have it covered. It all boils down to money. What a funny world we live in.

Houston, TX..

Here you go.. there is a regional office IN Houston. They will require proof of your urgent travel needs and the completed application, fees, etc.

BTW- I don't think the US gov charges but an additional $35 charge for the rush (same day service in New Orleans per my experience) verses the large fees seen in that website above.

Just get there early and take a copy of your itinerary, it's no big deal...

FWIW - I applied for my new passport (not renewal) by mail - expedited. I needed it in < 2 weeks and I got it within 7 working days.

If driving to an immigration office is not an option your local post office can do the paperwork. You pay the application fee, plus an additional $80, plus overnight returned shipping plus some other fees. My total was around $180.
