The last seven days have brought great tidings to the Berkley household. First off, last Tuesday, my 27-month old son (who has SVT) had a sedated echo-cardiogram because of an abnormal EKG on his last visit to the Pediatric Cardiologist. HIs heart is perfect, no problems. :D That afternoon I received an email from a forum I participate on that I had won a CAV15 "Scout" model AR15 in a raffle. :D I've been waiting for about 5 days to hear from a prospective employer about a position I had interviewed for 3 times.
Well, today I got that call and I will soon be the IT Manager for Tec Labs, Inc. here in Albany. I've been looking to move on from where I've been working for a couple of years now, and am very excited about this! :D :D
Have you picked up your Powerball ticket yet?
Congrats on everything, especially your son.

Thanks everyone, the rifle and the job were just icing on the cake. The little man has given his mother and I some grey hairs with his two bouts of 300+ hr. A year on Digoxin, several trips to Doernbecher Children's Hospital, etc.
I never pick numbers for the lottery when I have the inclination to play. But giving my recent good fortune, maybe I should. :)
