I passed by my local refreshment stand this evening and found this.

Reaper Ale, Sleighor Double IPA.

It's tasty.

Perhaps this can be an official beer of ProfessionalSoldiers.com? :D

Their website says the Double IPA is a limited brewing. I'm going to have to try their Stout.

BTW, TR they show a pretty sweet hitch cover on their site.Hitch (http://www.reaperale.com/catalog.asp)

Nice!

I am just waiting for brewmonkey to get in here and give us the professional opinion.

A double IPA is a very new beer style, it is BIG in flavor, alcohol, bitterness. I am proud to say that I was at the forefront of the double IPA sensation, brewing them before they were even considered for consideration as a style. You will see them listed as Double IPA's, Imperial IPA's & I2PA's and generally are somewhere about 9%-12% alcohol. They should be considered a monster ass kicking beer!

I have not had this particular one but it has some very respectable ratings from people who I trust.

Here is a link to the full front label.

Yes, some Soviet era embellishments.
