When I was the SWAT Team commander for my department, I saw a good need for being able to read trail signs and most of all the tracking of humans in the wilderness.

Since I live in a border State, I contacted the U. S. Border Patrol and asked if they had an expert, that could teach us the basics of tracking people in the wilderness. They supplied an officer who, indeed was an expert tracker.

We didn't become experts; however, when he got through with us we knew a lot more then we did before. :D

Cool Test, Those classes seem very similar to the Tom Brown classes I've taken.

Too bad I only know one other person who is into playing hide & seek w/ tracking.
Maybe I should move up there to VA.

What does it say to you?
I say 1-2 days old. I have a tree with similar leafs and it takes 1-2 days to become brown.

I would agree with 1-2 days.
But it looks like that leaf was there and whoever was walking in those boots stepped on it.

Just my 2-cents.
