It's a great thing to be alive and well in the greatest country on Earth!
For those who don't know, I'm in the 3/325 AIR, one of two battalions in the 82nd sent over last December to Iraq to help with the elections. I was on the first flight in and the first flight out. We landed at Pope AFB yesterday afternoon.
It's great to be back!

Good job and welcome back, especially after deploying on short notice. I ran into your guys in Baghdad and it was very obvious when the 82nd was around (very professional). I'm returning to Fayetteville for a break, PM me and I'll buy you a beer at Sharky's.

This is the 2nd instance I've read PMC's remarking on the professionalism displayed by the 325 A.I.R. in Baghdad.
Just about gives me a hard-on to hear that :D !
