Yep.

Like the video of the AMU shooter with the mag changes.

Those boys are good.

Funny thing about Miculek, he doesn't have some super-light trigger job in those S&W wheelguns. He likes the heavier double-action pull, almost like stock.

TS: I expect you are referring to Travis Tomasie's video of his reload practice?

He's real fast. Mag change and back on target before the one he dropped has hit the ground.

Good example of "smooth is fast." He doesn't even look like he's in a hurry.

I blinked and missed the first reload. Had to run it again to believe it. Impressed? You bet.

Both are very impressive but there is a clip of an IPSC shooter (I can't remember which one) doing a reload like in the second video but this guy is so fast he cathes the empty mag after reloading. I'll have to find it when I have some free time later. None the less all these cats are pretty damn impressive.

It quite apparent Travis is single, he doesn’t own a house or boat, no kids, no girlfriend, doesn’t go out much, and has hours of spare time! (Just kidding Travis!)

A Team Sergeant shooting tip:

While marksmanship can be mastered, in order to be fast one must practice, practice, practice.

Travis works for a member of this board, and shoots for the US Army.

I've got that video on my hard drive...for use in work-related PPT presentations.

I can't link to the web site from which it came because it's password protected.

Tell me how I can get it to you and I'd be glad to let you post it.

Truly outstanding shooting.

Yeah, he is one of the ones I'm talking about in my sig line. You think he knocked off at 17:00 everyday? Sparrows are probably the bastards that got Colonel Rowe.

Almost as impressive as the other videos is this one of a IPSC Grand Master running a 60 round stage. It is the first video on the link.

I agree....I have heard those Sons of bitches are REAL fast.

Around 1988 time frame, all of us security types at Subic Bay/San Miguel had to attend a briefing/training session about the NPA and its capabilities. This after they'd killed 2 USAF guys up in Angeles City. One of the people we spoke with was a Sparrow turncoat who'd come in under something like the Vietnam-era Chu Hoi Program.

When we were on the range, he drew against 2-3 randomly selected Marines from the crowd: They drew 1911's from the older leather cavalry holsters, and the new "Green Meanies" for the Berretta, he drew from his waistband.

We concluded that your chances of not getting shot were slim to none, and that was against an anticipated movement. When you factor in that there are 4 of them, who have been watching you for a week or two, and will only act on their terms, the odds come in completely against you.

Here is a collection of clips shot with a product called "Hoser Cam". Most with a first-person perspective of USPSA/IPSC shooters running and gunning typical courses-of-fire.

http://www.hosercam.com and click on the Video Clips link.

We have quite a few top-level shooters that ordinarily have someone video them shooting for conducting reviews of their performance. I've done it a few times, although my camera is on the low-end of quality. Looking back at the video is a great method for self-critique and improvement.

Try it in "full" combat gear after humping for hours.

Throw an IED into the equation with someone shooting back.

I'll bet you he will fumble that mag exchange!

Sir,
BASE jumpers are using this piece of kit:
http://www.customvideocameras.com/

I've seen the results of the above and it is as good as hosercam. The quality is good enough to use it in their commercial videos. Just another option, a toolbox can't have enough tools.
