Anyone heard of these? I remember reading in None Braver that PJs were getting the OK to carry whole blood in the field. Sounds like they are starting to look at how they're going to improve the "ruck life" of whole blood or blood products.

the really nice thing will be when the 'artificial blood' is available in the field....I'll wager we're less than 9-12 months away from it being commercially available (from Northfield labs) and the first place it is going is to the armed services
