First the "ALL Female Shuttle Spacewalk Crew" looses an ENTIRE tool bag on a space walk (what were they doing with tools anyway?) and now this.

WHY do we keep celebrating these "accomplishments" of "all female" ANYTHING other than a maternity ward

Growing up, we had one of these types of stereos.
The sound was actually pretty good.

The Poseidon is a submarine hunting aircraft. This one took its duties seriously, and after a landing, took a dive to continue the hunt underwater. You know, like a coon dog with a scent trail. Pilot should have pulled back on the leash.

If the new paradigm is to have pilot, copilot, and crew all identify as female - shouldn't we change the gender specific terminology (and rather vulgar sound as well) from "cock pit" to "hen house" so that the terminology matches the gender identity of the crew?

Just asking because I don't want to misgender anyone - much like our most recently appointed Supreme Court Justice - I need a biologist to verify that the crew we are referring to in this thread are actually "female" at all.

I've known a few females for whom "cockpit" is an entirely too appropriate descriptor.

Wow.

Just...
...wow.

I'm not sure if that comment is sexist, transphobic, or just plain funny.
