Sigi is having trouble with his MS Intellipoint mouse. Somehow his roommate erased this program so he is trying to reinstall. Because he doesn't have a mouse, he can't click on the acceptance on the agreement page to proceed to install. Any ideas? He tried hitting the "enter" key and that does nothing...

TAB should move things around, failing that ALT+F4 and the arrow keys will do the trick but I think he is looking for the TAB key. SHIFT+TAB will reverse the order.

Thanks E, I'll tell him and see if that works.

He said Tab is not working to let him check the box to "accept". He is trying to get to accept so it will install, but when he hits Tab it goes to "print" or "back" or Cancel but not the "I accept". Said hitting Alt F4 only asks him if he wants to cancel....

Try "Alt" "A".

Hell, I just learned something. Thank you AM!

I just keep several mice laying around. :)

Do you feed them cheese? :D Lesson learned, I keep a spare as well.

When I read the thread title, I thought Gypsy was trying to get rid of a mouse! lol

LOL, no lrd. I have friends who "breed" them for their snakes though. One day I went into the freezer for ice so we could make margaritas...low and behold in a freezer bag were all these little baby mice...EWWWWWWWWWWW.

Thank you very much AM. Your intelligence never ceases to amaze me.

Thanks for the assist, Gypsy. Your awesome as always.

My roommate deleted all of my bookmarks in Firefox and I am trying to recover those, so if any of you have any ideas. :D

He is not sure what he did so I hope all I have to be concerned with is the mouse and the bookmarks. :boohoo

You got lucky.

Look at the virus that I got and destroyed my mouse.

LOL@Sdiver.

I must have done something correct (for once) because I successfully restored my bookmarks. Again, thank you for the help Ambush Master and Gypsy.

Sigi, there's an extension that allows you to save all your bookmarks in an XML file on an FTP site if your ISP gives you some space. That way you can always sync your bookmarks to any machine you are on.

Bookmarks Synchronizer (https://addons.update.mozilla.org/extensions/showlist.php?application=firefox&version=0.9&os=Windows&category=Bookmarks)
