So this miscreant E-2 defected to North Korea rather than face disciplinary action in the states. He has several things going against him he is not a lesbian and does not play on any pro sports team. Do we have a high level North Korean anybody that we are holding in order to secure his release? When I visited the border I had to wear Class A's, I am not to impressed with today's Army where is their pride?

Why do we want him back?

I say all the inhabitants of the United States who embrace communism should have every opportunity to relocate to a communist dictatorship instead of supporting this country becoming one.

I agree with you…..but the Army recruiting numbers are dismal. We now have to take all comers and go ransom those who choose to flee.

Maybe we can trade them a few ICBMs to get the dude back .

^^ This. A Nork currently living with us who's a happy camper has more intrinsic propaganda value than this yokel, even if he had Milley's "I wish I was a Field Marshal" fruit salad on his windbreaker.

An American soldier who was facing disciplinary action over an assault charge has been detained in North Korea after crossing the border into the country.

Private 2nd Class Travis King, 23, was released from a South Korean prison on July 10 after serving his time for the assault charge. He was then being sent back to the United States, but instead of getting on the plane, he joined a tour of the Korean border village of Panmunjom and ran across the border into North Korea.

The United States military has confirmed that King is in North Korean custody, and is working with the North Korean government to secure his release.

He deserves at least six months in NK to pick his naval lint and contemplate his stellar future as an Instagram Influencer. :munching

. (I understand there may have been several assaults, with convictions)

. (He was going home to a "not honorable" discharge. Who the hell let him wander around without shackles and an escort??)

. (HRC should put him on her FRIENDS list. :lifter
