Did the original surge in children with RSV come soon after they were required to mask up?

It's likely a consequence of being masked up for a couple years.
Here's an interesting article on RSV. The author brings up several possibilities for the increase in RSV.

Locally we had an increase in RSV that swamp the local children hospital. At the time a lot of people believed it coincided with the kids masking up. This may turn out to be another one of those COVID related conspiracy theories that end up being fact.
It's a damn shame how much censorship and disinformation has been spread over the past 3 years on COVID related topics.
No worries - the democrats will be along shortly to accuse her of racism and bigotry as well as being a white extremist and conspiracy nut.
She probably qualifies as a climate and election denier as well and if not so what...
...I'm saying it anyway, shes a climate and election denier. She must be - because she is pretending to think for herself.
She should have stayed away from words like "constitution" and "freedom"
...her cell is waiting for her

I concur. Same with the influenza that is hitting early and hard this year.
In Mr Smit’s dissertation he draws on Arendt to be able to reach clarification regarding, among other things, the question of the relation between tertiary education and ‘action’ in the Arendtian sense; to wit, the highest level of what she called the vita activa (the active, as opposed to the contemplative life), the other two levels being ‘labour’ and ‘work.’ While this is an important theme to pursue, what interests me here is rather the question of the desired action in the face of the continuing attempt to install a technocratic totalitarian regime in the world.
