No words to express my anger. That said, I've always thought that President Trump should have made the effort to have read The Prince, by Machiavelli. imoo, it's plausible he would have made a different call for the 1/6/rally. He should have known that the rally would be used against him in the lions den of DC.

Now, the corrupt political/establishment - US Government, will find or plant evidence that detracts, delays, or prevents Trump from ever running for office again.

It could also be the prelude to a completed process that includes an election result that mirrors Venezuela last election.

The left has been showing Americans who they are since the mid-1960s but America refuses to believe them.

For goodness sakes, it was Maya Angelou - the poet laureate of the left that said that shit - When somebody shows you who they are - believe them. The left even had a fucking POET warn Americans about who they are but all for naught. Fear not though my dear friends because I, much like resident brandon, am willing to plagiarize greater men and calleth on their genius as mine own...

Alas, poor America! I knew him, Horatio: a nation of infinite liberty, of most excellent freedoms: a nation that has borne us all on its back a thousand times
...and now, how abhorred in our imagination it is! my gorge rims at it. Here hung that liberty that we enjoyed I know not how oft. Where be your justice now America? your pride? your glory? your flashes of merriment, that were wont to set the table on a roar?
Not one now, to mock your own grinning? quite chap-fallen?
Now get you to our nations media, and tell them, let them spin their tales an inch thick, to this sad end-state they must come; let them report THAT...

Here is the first campaign add for Michael Bennet a Democratic campaigning against Democratic policies, many of which he was instrumental in passing. If you remember Bennet he was neck in neck with Kamila during the last presidential election and came out of it with his tail between his legs. The add would be astounding if it weren’t for how stupid many voters are.

Or is Bennet calling the guide(I'm not a democrat) the "fish" he caught (suckered into supporting him}??

EDIT to add: Make no mistake Bukele is a dictator, but he is doing somrthing that his nation needs... YMMV

The article said the 40-year-old Bukele and his supporters terminated the nation’s lead prosecutor and highest court before packing both institutions with those loyal to his rule.

Under the months-long extension of emergency powers, El Salvador police and military have been rounding up tens of thousands of suspected gang members or affiliates after doing away with the need for arrest warrants. The government defended the crackdown as targeting the ranks of criminal organizations that have controlled swaths of territory and extorted and killed with impunity, according to The Associated Press.

Politically it seems like a really poor move by/for the left. Can't imagine that the risk/reward tradeoff can payoff here.

Questions:

Why wouldn't a subpoena work for this? A pretty big risk to serve a warrant to an ex pres.

Why hasn't either side unsealed the warrant? At least partially?

Classified documents. Do they work the same way for politicians as they do in the military? Can't the president decide what is classified or not? Did he not do this to these documents before he left office? If they are declassified are they now public?

Side note:

I noticed that Trump's lawyers have already suggested there was planting of evidence. In the same interview they say there was nothing illegal taken. Undoubtedly, the king of deny everything and make counter accusations.

Lots of kneejerk reactions in the media considering no one knows much yet. I bought extra popcorn. Some people will undoubtedly lose their minds either way this shakes out.

LHC

Yes, the POTUS has Original Classification Authority and can Classify or De-Classify anything that the Executive Branch has prevue over.

My guess, POTUS DJT (Before he left office and was still the POTUS) got access to the DOJ’s (corruptly obtained visa-vi the Clinton) FISA Warrant that was used to spy on his 2016 campaign (and then simply crossed out the classification markings thereby making the documents no different than a copy of a library book).

If this is true, this absolutely terrifies the lefties in the know at the top of both parties / the uni-party who are and have been abusing the intl community to SPY on political opponents.

There had already been a subpoena and some docs had already been furnished. Subsequent to that it was directed that a room get a better level lock (GSA something something point something something). This was done.

MOO #1: Using a warrant to go big-casino to retrieve docs will be a big mistake.

As to the warrant, the DOJ (per Garland an hour ago) has requested that the warrant and property receipt be UN-sealed. It also needs consent of Trump to be unsealed. What he did not speak to is the likelihood that it'll be leaked anyway from the Southern District of Florida. Garland did not mention that the actual affidavit will be unsealed, which should have the affiant for the warrant and more detail about why the warrant needs to be executed.

MOO #2: This is not just directed at Trump. This is a warning to others.

Fourth Amendment

It has been reported that a warrant was issued. Presumably it met the requirements. Whether it was "legit" depends on what you mean by that. Cf. W.J. Clinton, "It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is."

The Democrats are looking at a midterm slaughter.
They need to change the conversation and increase turnout.

Their support in the last election was largely due to hatred for Trump, not love for the Democrat party.
They have been trying to keep the war on Trump central to the news cycle since January 6.

If this was part of the motivation for the raid, the reaction might not help their cause in the way they hoped.

One side is well-armed and ready, but lacks numbers and motivation (operational level leadership). They live in dispersed areas that are self sustaining with multiple / vulnerable lines of communication passing through their AOR (rail / power / road / etc). They don’t generally give a tinker’s damn about the other side as long as they are left alone.

The other side is large in number and well organized, but virtually disarmed compared to their opponents with the exception of the mercenaries they hire to police their areas. They live in major metropolitan areas that are nearly incapable of self sustainment and control almost none of their life support LOC’s (power / food / water / fuel). They also somehow believe that picking a fight with those who would otherwise be left alone is a “good idea”…..

Trump will prevail, simply because the left has overplayed their hand. They are so afraid of him in the mid-terms and 2024 that they will go extremes like this to show they large and in charge. They simply don’t understand what they are dealing with.

Trump upset the status quo, because he couldn’t be bought. They are afraid of that. The Bushes were vulnerable, they were weak, they wanted to be a powerful dynasty, but they were never even close to that.

Trump scares them, and the “swamp” should be afraid, very very afraid.

P.S. I initially didn’t care for him but, as he progressed in his term I saw that he only had America in his eyes and the future of America “first” as his policy. I am not a die hard “Trump Fan” but with the choices we are given, I would vote for him again.

When Trump calls for His supporters to RALLY around Him. Is that an insurrection ?

From Webster’s dictionary:

in·sur·rec·tion | \ ˌin(t)-sə-ˈrek-shən \
Definition of insurrection
: an act or instance of revolting against civil authority or an established government

re·volt | \ ri-ˈvōlt also -ˈvȯlt \
revolted; revolting; revolts
Definition of revolt

intransitive verb
1 : to renounce allegiance or subjection (as to a government) : REBEL
2a : to experience disgust or shock
b : to turn away with disgust

transitive verb
: to cause to turn away or shrink with disgust or abhorrence

revolt noun
Definition of revolt
1 : a renouncing of allegiance (as to a government or party)
especially : a determined armed uprising
2 : a movement or expression of vigorous dissent

So if a Political Candidate / Figure / Persona calls for the LEGAL “replacement of representation” through election (s), then I guess it could be if used in the broadest use of the word, but that would then include pretty much EVERY opposition candidate’s position (s)…..

“I will NOT. EAT. MY. PEAS! And Box CAN’T make me!”

ETA: Revolt is the root word of “Revolution”….. and the last time we had one of those, a group of tyrants were confiscating guns, censoring our news, having show-trials, taxing us relentlessly, and searching our homes without legal justification.….. just sayin’……

First administration to behave like a third world government by ordering a media circus of a violation of a former presidents 4th amendment rights while also trying to circumvent his 5th amendment rights by stealing documents relating to attorney/client privilege as part of an openly brazen attempt to ensnare and imprison their political opponents.

First party caught sodomizing a government clerk with a cigar in the oval office

First to push passage of Jim Crow laws

First to attempt to succeed form the USA prior to starting a civil war.
...later, the first to field a failed Union General to try and unseat the President that was trying to win the civil war and end slavery (bonus points for being the party that wants to change the names of almost all of the military posts named after civil war generals - except for the seditious traitorous one that ran against Lincoln)

The first to literally rely on a criminal organization to fund and support their political campaigns...
...don't trust my biased political diatribes ?? Just read about Tammany Hall and their behavior from the 1790's all the way into the 1960's

The first to have someone in the executive branch murder someone in a dual...

The first to have a murderous VP make for the wild west in an attempt to start his own country.

First to PROVE that you can in fact, sleep your way to the top

First to have a president tell you to put on a fucking sweater because of his failed energy policies.

First to have a president ask for a definition of the word "is"

First to successfully build a secret police force the size of 19 army brigades while convincing stupid people that the secret police are actually going to be robbing rich people to help feed poor people.

First party to pass trillions of dollars in "Inflation Reduction" to fight a Zero-Percent inflation problem

First to have a president tell you to EAT YOUR FUCKING PEAS because of his failed economic policies.

https://compactmag.com/article/they-can-t-let-him-back-in

The author pursues an interesting thought experiment.
But it does get a bit complex.

Many of the actors at higher levels of power probably just lust for more power, and Trump is an impediment.
They probably have some sort of rationalization for their actions which involves pursuing the “greater good.”

At the lower levels of power, Trump has been cast as being worse than Hitler.
If you could prevent Hitler from coming to power, wouldn’t you feel morally justified in doing anything to serve that goal?

Many on the pro-Trump side mirror the sentiments of the rabid left.
The only caveat being that the right wants the left to start the shooting first.

The author’s concluding question and fear, whether they’ve thought this through, is probably quite true in both cases.
Some on the left have thought this through and want the conflict, some haven’t.

I would pose a slightly different version of the final fear:
It’s just scorched earth tactics.

If they don’t win, they’ll make sure everyone loses.

They’re willing to go through these shenanigans to cover their tracks.
If the Republicans gain control in Congress, Trump can hand over the goods.

“What is interesting here is that Trump had specifically ordered the declassification of all materials related to the FBI's involvement in Russiagate and related matters. But it seems this declassification was not carried out. In other words, the involved people in the Justice Department apparently refused a direct presidential order. I suspect that this is really behind what is going on. I suspect that the FBI and the Justice Department are trying to cover their tracks. Within the ruling [pg 9] Judge Cannon outlines the issues at the heart of the legal matter, including the government taking President Trump’s personal medical records which has nothing to do with the nature of the warrant.

“According to the Privilege Review Team’s Report, the seized materials include medical documents, correspondence related to taxes, and accounting information. … The Government also has acknowledged that it seized some “[p]ersonal effects without evidentiary value” and, by its own estimation, upwards of 500 pages of material potentially subject to attorney-client privilege.”
The judge also cited instances already where the FBI's Filter Team failed and have already exposed others to material that clearly would've been attorney-client specific.

The fed-bois are on Government systems conducting Government business while being paid by the Government…. Which means…. FOIA is the principle, not “I’ll plead the 5th”…..

The instruments used are owned by the Government and are property of the US Tax payer and NO expectation of privacy comes with that.

...Groucho Marx
...Charlie Chaplin
...Sonny Bono
...Bob Dylan
...Micky fucking Mantle

-The same agency that DID shoot and kill Vicki Weaver while she stood unarmed holding nothing in her arms but a but a baby.

-The same agency that DID choose to burn down the Branch Dividians compound killing women and children instead of waiting to peacefully arrest their cult leader during one of his ROUTINE walks through town.

-The same agency that declares 'internal investigation' can't be trusted while boasting a nearly 100% success rate of investigating their own officer related shootings and finding almost all of them TO BE "clean shoots"

-"Illegal" domestic surveillance
-COINTELPRO
-Fast and Furious (Eric'S illegal gun running scheme - not the cheesy action movie series with that guy who does the voice of Groot)
-Louis Freeh's habitual legal malpractice
-Jim Comey admittedly leaking fabricated info to the press knowing it would trigger an investigation

...for fuck sake, do I need to continue - my computer is going to run out of ink if I keep typing all of the fucked up shit the DOJ does

It’s unethical and wrong...
...man that is some funny funny shit.

Yes, I know, my coffee may have been too strong at the time of my posting. I shall refrain from making such snap (peas) uh, err, judgments in the future.

The F.B.Eye, is the “premier” law enforcement agency in the whole world… poor, poor, Christopher Stevens died at the hands of a “peaceful Islamic group” rightfully protesting a movie that enraged them because it pointed out their Messiah was a rapist, a pedophile and a thief.

And then there’s all that stuff they did during prohibition. Shoot first ask questions later.

We have proof of real cultural progess. The purveyor of that narrative is now Brandon's special assistant for domestic policy. Is this a great country or what?

We have proof of real cultural progess.

It would do 'conservative' America well to acknowledge that we are at the high water mark of the cultural revolution and conservatism is LOSING.

For shit sake - PACAF has announced that pronoun neutrality is one of the ways that we will "improve our interoperability, efficiency, creativity, and lethality (https://www.infowars.com/posts/us-base-tasked-with-confronting-china-ordered-to-stop-using-gender-pronouns/).”

If you don't support the agenda of the current administrations front man, you are now considered a clear and present danger - and the attending crowd responded happily.

Far too many conservatives have spent the last 50 years looking the other way when drug addicts, perverts, activists, and child molesters start virtue signaling for no other reason than being afraid of getting called "...phobic"
and here we are

Yeah Box we need to add one more name to the list.

John Paul Mac Issac.

I know this guy. Not close, but I used to go to the second floor of the DCCA, now know as "The Contemporary", a art gallery and artist studio spot in South Wilmington and fly his flight simulator.

Lots of fun hours yakking it up and trying to do barrel rolls and loops in a 737. Watching as he helped little kids fly around.

I'm 70, so I know all about your list. As far as I can tell, except for Weaver, none of them really suffered from the spying, though I'm sure somebody will correct me if I'm wrong. Heck, Dylan just unloaded his song rights for 400 million.

And I could tell a funny tale about the FBI trying to catch a guy I went to high school with who dodged the draft.

But the Biden computer/J.P. Mac Issac thing makes my blood boil.

The guy is legally blind. He did the right thing. He got hung out to twist slowly in the wind. His business was destroyed.

Here's a great interview of the guy...

Brief footage on his online channel, and article here (https://100percentfedup.com/breaking-live-video-fbi-surrounds-mike-lindell-at-drive-thru-window-at-hardees-in-iowa-listen-to-his-story-here/) about the contact by the FBI with Mike Lindell.

Edit to add additional link to Lindell's story, with video, here (https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2022/09/13/midterm-election-effort-joe-biden-fbi-surround-mike-lindell-vehicle-seize-cell-phone/).

Tough surveillance, lol. Technique would've made the VoPo's proud. Don't tell 'em a thing and ask for a Soviet officer! Wait - where am I?

“It is also true, of course, that evenhanded procedure does not demand unquestioning trust in the determinations of the Department of Justice.”

Ol' Judge Aileen Cannon, she does have a bit of an edge to the written tongue there. (Yeah, I love it.) The above comes from her order declining the DOJ's machinations to only have a Special Master review a few of the documents in question, which in a certain way tells them to pound sand. They had wanted to cherry pick some documents to be reviewed because, well, reasons, but "we've got this little criminal investigation we've got to hurry up with & all."

Judge Cannon appointed Trump team pick Judge Richard Dearie to be the Special Master, and further directed that he would be reviewing ALL materials seized by the FBI. Suspense date for his initial review of the small number is 30 Nov 2022.

Note: Judge Dearie may not be known to many but he was a FISC judge and, ahem, he was one of the original judges to sign off on the warrant that allowed Carter Page (and anyone within 2 hops of him) to be wiretapped based on NOW KNOWN lies by the FBI to get the warrant. I don't know if judges carry a grudge about being lied to on such a scale and being made a fool of all the way through IG investigations and the Mueller facade. I'm sure he's forgotten the whole thing.
