I think at one time in the, not too distant past O3's doing strip shows was frowned upon?

A video emerged Saturday of former US Army captain Brittany DeBarros stripping down at a 2019 anti-war burlesque show in Brooklyn
DeBarros is currently running as a socialist against incumbent NY State Rep Nicole Malliotakis, from Staten Island, in New York's 11th District
The retired Army captain and Afghan war veteran began her routine in a camouflage uniform before removing it to show nothing but red lingerie
DeBarros eventually went topless in the December 2019 performance, wearing pasties
She was deployed to Afghanistan in 2012 and eventually became a vocal critic of the war
At the time of the burlesque show, DeBarros had tweeted that she was nearly court-martialed for 'posting facts' regarding the war while she was still enlisted
The Staten Island native has already raised $350,000 since announcing her candidacy in January; much of it has come from donors out of state

The Army has been weaponizing misfits for at least a generation. She is a "combat vet" that has gleefully and zealously adorned herself in the mantle of victimhood.
Every leader and senior NCO that impacted her career - or failed to impact her career shares responsibility. Just like the goons that graduated that Spinster Repowned guy from wEstP0inT - leaders are to blame for this kind of silliness.

and yeah, everyone is a 'combat vet'...in WW2/RVN that meant you had a CIB...otherwise you said you were 'in theater' ...'In country'....
This kind of silly shit shines a light on a few undeniable truths:
1) The 'good guys' don't always win.
2) Incompetency and indecency aren't always held accountable.
3) Not all "heroes" are heroic.
4) Opinions vary.

I was at KAF...Kandahar Airfield (huge base) and a few rockets came in...the next day every ind. on that base put in for their 'Combat Action Badge'.....yes, we were knee deep in hand grenade pins.... I didn't get out of my bunk.

We had over 50 2ndLT and 500 EM. 40% of my workload was planning escort duty with the post MPs to the local JAG office for summary adjudications. Most were potheads, barrack fights, and/or petty crime. The dealers & sellers got time in LBJ before receiving dishonorables. They made them complete their "Tour"

'hey, where'd you get those slippers' ...had a company clerk ( C Co,2/14th 25th ID) that had a pair...he supposedly cleaned up down there and the Company got him back but no... sent him back. How and where he got the hard stuff no idea. One of the local Viets I suspect. He wasn't a bad kid either...just got hooked smoking laced stuff.
He was the closest we got to knowing a REMF really...Co level guys that stayed in the rear..armorer/ etc. 1SG didn't stay in the field either...we had a Field First that was an SFC.
Top already had 3 tours tho so we got that...starting as a SSG. so he did literally years in the field.
