Best golfer I’ve ever watched, by far. He will be back.

Had the pleasure of watching him up close and talking briefly with his dad during Tiger’s second USGA Amateur championship. During those days, in amateur events you could walk the fairway with the player and his small group. My have times changed. They really changed after that 2nd USGA amateur title.

Damn, that kid could play golf.

Yes, he did.. I hope he recovers, but with his history of medical problems, this may be his retirement.

There is also the circumstance surrounding the accident. Tiger has a history of partying bigger than life.. :munchin

More than anything, I think he is single-handedly most responsible for reinvigorating golf as a sport -- especially for younger people and the *common* folk more than it ever was. He put golf back into the mainstream as a *sport* per se. He did the industry well and hopefully he hasn't damaged himself beyond repair with today's medical advances in orthopedics.
