View Full Version : Kyle Rittenhouse
The Rittenhouse family had set up a store to buy 'Free Kyle' merchandise last week to raise money for legal. Within a short time TPTB decided to put their thumb on the printer shipper.

Not in this country anymore, The deep state is deeper than you think. Joe Chink Biden & his organized crime family have a standard of justice equal to the Clintons. If you think you will be treated fairly in the justice system you are dead wrong.

This is good news. (https://www.news8000.com/i/rittenhouse-hearing-to-decide-on-evidence-allowed-at-trial/)
MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A judge ruled Friday that prosecutors can’t argue that a man who shot three people during a protest against police brutality in Wisconsin is affiliated with the Proud Boys or that he attacked a woman months before the shootings, bolstering his position as he prepares for a politically charged trial.
Kyle Rittenhouse is set to stand trial beginning Nov. 1 on multiple counts, including homicide. The 18-year-old argues he opened fire in self-defense after the men attacked him. Prosecutors say they have infrared video from an FBI surveillance plane that shows Rittenhouse followed and confronted the first man he shot.
Full account of the legal jockeying at the link above. Nice to see the acknowledgement of the FBI overhead; should be interesting to compare their 'surveillance' with the contradicting mass of street-level video that shows the opposite.

But it’s the FBI, you know the agency that let Larry Nassar off from 20 years of molesting juvenile female children, spent $33-million investigating Trump/Russia after finding their own unsubstantiated allegations were based on false evidence and allowed Robert Hanson to sell/trade secrets to the Russians for 25 years.
Yes, let me think for a minute…hmm…Kyle was “guarding” a used car lot from illegal and felonious activities like arson, so when someone (Rosenbalm) entered the car lot Kyle was supposed to do what? (According to the FBI he shouldn’t have investigated that or told the person he was trespassing and should leave.)
I guess then the FBI should charge the idiot who fired his gun in the air just seconds before (Kyle was forced to defend himself) should be charged with shooting at a federally operated aircraft. That’s got to be way worse then pointing a laser at a Customs and Border Protection helicopter hovering in your backyard?)
The FBI needs to be dissolved entirely!

That guy and his moll, who're rumored to have since deleted their pornhub account (the stuff people find out), is also seen earlier in the evening in the crowd around the gents guarding a store where Rosenbaum was doing his best prison-yard blustering ("shoot ME nigga!"). They're experienced at this riot business and were scoping out how to move seamlessly between some inexperienced people who were letting them get far too close.

PBS is pretty much doing (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TFjpOQZ0ovo) the best job of just broadcasting it on the 'tube and NOT having some feral chat session running at the same time.
Opening argument yesterday by defense was stellar.
Coverage today (and presumably going forward) is going to be real granular.
Initial take is that if he got any kind of a stick-to-facts-and-statutes jury he will be acquitted.
May need to check on subsequent days for the PBS link that has it. Don't know if the URL changes each day.
Any, FWIW.
:munchin
Edit to add: Was right about the URL's & coverage changing. Several stations around the country periodically linking the feed (AM or PM) but haven't found a single site. And right now they have a witness testifying for whom they've determined they will cut video/audio on this witness. Maybe it's the mysterious drone operator with the IR capability.

This trial has been a real clown show from the gitgo, on one hand it's kind of humorous to watch the DA continually step in it, on the other hand it's very concerning that a freak show such as this is allowed to happen.
https://www.dailywire.com/news/rittenhouse-defense-asks-for-mistrial-with-prejudice
Since it appears the Communists are doxing the jury, the judge should declare a mistrial with prejudice.
Again, not a 2L,, but all this talk of a mistrial is not what I think is best.
A mistrial would/could stop the DA from a retrial and Kyle walks away a free man..
The problem with that is the SJW/ANTIFA would be rioting for months saying the trial was a shame..
I think the DA may be intentionally trying for the mistrial to throw the kid to the wolves..
I would like to see the trial go to completion with a NOT guilty verdict, that keeps the Left pissed, but with no recourse..
The testimony so far looks to be 100% for the kid. :lifter
I say ride it hard and let the Left cry.. :munchin

After watching the trial yesterday, I came away with the sense that Kyle is at his core a good kid. My paternal side wished that I could have taken him under my arm, taught him situational awareness, prevented him from exercising incredibly bad judgement, and guide him through future life choices. He just needs strong paternal guidance in his life!

I think (but do not know) that there are types of mistrials at least to the extent that one could let the DA have another crack (because he's hosed right now) and another kind could preclude such a thing ("with prejudice" ?).
SJW/Antifa are going to riot regardless; Chauvin conviction on Floyd didn't really mitigate anything nationally. All verdicts = riot for them.
The defense & judge are suspecting same thing. DA is on a short leash right now with defense motion on that still pending.

"with prejudice" as I understand the term,, would prevent the DA from reopening the case. The Judges chiding the DA as often as he has, should get the defence the "with prejudice" aquital?

Thanks,, all the more reason to take it to the jury.Agree, best outcome. Just hope there aren't any "Chauvin - ists" on there, skewing a verdict because of fear of future actions or being threatened. Judge instructions Monday AM will be important. Also, they are discussing tomorrow (while jury on long weekend) any add'l charges possible, or any that the DA would like to withdraw or lessen. They spent a stupid amount of time today over pixelation of a couple of photos trying to prove that Rittenhouse swept someone with his muzzle before he had to engage the first guy. ADA (who let his non-mouthy cohort handle many things since the 2nd ass-chewing) is certainly out to get one of the "recklessly endangering" charges proven.
There have been seen a few posts from people who, ostensibly, supported Rittenhouse but then bragged about how they got themselves tossed from the jury pool. My description of them is not suitable here.

The verdict in the Kyle Rittenhouse MURDER trial, may cause the Antifa Communist to protest the verdict, BUT, remember we the people have been conditioned to expect and in most cases to accept their peaceful protest..."Das Dicke Ende Kommt Noch"....FOR US or FOR THEM....ARE YOU READY...
If I was the Rittenhouse family, I wouldn't get my hopes up just yet. CNN convicted him as a murdering racist last August and the Gun-Loving "Conservatives" at BRCC have prejudged him as well. I'm not sure anyone should get too wrapped around "the facts" just yet. We are in 2021 America - even the POTUS has proudly declared that the facts don't matter.

After today, I'm really concerned. I know he talked about it with his lawyers but I wish Kyle had not concurred to the availability of a lesser charge on a couple of the counts. To me (and IANAL even in nightmares) it's just cutting slack to Herr Oberst Binger as well as the jury. If they can't reach the high bar of the initial charges that the pissant filed within 48 hours with no evidence or research they now have an opportunity to say "well, we can do 2nd degree this or that and not get our houses burned by BLM." And the little tyrant gets a "win." Maybe some barrister can 'splain it to me (I understand lesser sentence and all that). I'd have preferred that he make them climb ALL the way up the mountain on the evidence and if they can't get there then Kyle walks, 'F' you.
This trial and the way it's gone is not just about Kyle. It's about reminding you all not to resist when their street thugs come through your area to burn, loot, vandalise and assault anyone they want with impunity. They don't like this Operation PUSHBACK krap.

That “kid” at 17 has more courage, intelligence and integrity than that spineless ADA will every have in his lifetime. He also has mad weapons handling skills more than many a seasoned Infantrymen will ever attain with years of training. I so hope and pray this weekend that the jury “not of his peers” sees fit to acquit him of these atrocious and unfounded charges and to send a clear message to all the future wannabe rioters, looters and criminals that, “we the people” control our destiny and we will not be denied!
After that I hope Mr. Rittenhouse, takes a lesson from young Mr. Sandman and sues the living shit out of every media pundit and the President of the United States of America for slander and defamation!

Proper weapon handling has nothing to do with justice. The jury needs to be afraid of that black stick wielded by the 17-year old facing charges in Kenosha so they can return the approved social justice verdict.
...maybe they'll make him live in a neighborhood with less trees than a normal white neighborhood - or even worse, they'll make him live in a neighborhood where the school buses don't fit under the racist bridge network so that he can't go to the bridge. Defense has asked for another mistrial, motion filed with the Judge. (https://www.wisn.com/article/kyle-rittenhouse-trial-defense-wants-mistrial-difference-drone-video-quality/38281710) This is over the high-res version of the drone video that the DA trotted out after the muddy version had been used by the Defense, but didn't come out until after time had passed to submit new evidence & the Defense didn't see or know about it till 2 days before closing arguments.
Judge has said he's going to hold onto their motion until the jury requests the video, as they are reviewing the videos presented in the case.

I think that it would be highly unlikely that someone could screw things up this badly through incompetence.
Maybe they deliberately have made the likelihood of acquittal or dismissal because they knew Rittenhouse was merely justifiably defending himself against lethal force and had to go through the motions for the angry leftist sector of the community at large.

Agreed,, but why?
1) the DA is truly incompetent and doesn't know how to graciously exit
2) the DA is actively creating the back-story to encourage new BLM & AITFA riots
3) the DA is doing what he's been told and expects to be made the fall guy, after which he becomes a Hero Progressive and gets elected state congress critter.
Any of these causes will allow Biden's DoJ to come in heavy and prosecute a litany of petty federal hate crimes,, claim hero status,, while watching Kenosha burn to the ground..

Agreed,, but why?
At the first incident (well, first 2 actually) he was specifically accused by the Defense team of trying to provoke a mistrial because their case was weak & they were ill-prepared (after 14 months). Rationale obviously is to get another swing at the ball. The Judge seemed to feel the same way but held short of making the direct accusation during the 2 occasions at which he chewed the ADA's ass, without jury present (but on TV).
I think that it would be highly unlikely that someone could screw things up this badly through incompetence.

That crossed my mind. However if that is the case it is still two black eyes for the justice system because they are tip toeing around in an attempt to appease an angry mob which cannot be appeased. And while this is going on the angry mob is making overt threats to a judge and jury without any consequence, yet the FBI can find the time to round up any 1/6 Peaseful Protest participant with no problem and sick the counter terrorism unit on Parents objecting to CRT being taught in schools. Wisconsin Gov. Tony Ever's appears to be using Terry McAuliffe's Charlottesville Playbook by having NG Troops on stand by instead of making their presence known before things go hot.
During Kenosha 2020 there were around 275 arrests, many or most were from outside Kenosha. A couple rubes from the 417 Second Amendment Militia made headlines when a "Tip" lead the FBI to them. Yet there are never any 'Tips' that lead the FBI to thwart BLM/ANTIFA from razing a city.
FBI Director Chris Wray says ANTIFA is an ideology, not an organization. Yet they seems to organize for acts of violence on a regular basis. Hell, they even have a mobile-teria named Riot Kitchen "a Seattle-based volunteer organization that provides food to people at major protests".
No justice, no peace....Divide and Conquer .
District Attorney's are first and foremost politicians that make political decisions - *justice* has nothing to do with them. This was a political prosecution and my hope is that the entire prosecutor's office would be shunned for their kowtowing to fear and public opinion. But, that isn't going to happen.

Binger is a University of Michigan grad, which is supposed to be a top-flight law school. His pursuit of Rittenhouse's invocation of a constitutional right to remain silent was just fucked up. Secondly, pointing a weapon, WITH HIS FINGER IN THE TRIGGER HOUSING inside the courtroom, was another fuck-up that you don't have to have a J.D. to know is a clown-show move of the first order. When the defamation suit(s) gets done, as well as when he's clear of the likely civil suits coming his way, he'll be able to afford anything that Daniel Defense might have on offer.
I'm with JimP though. I didn't want to jinx anything but there were things also that the defense team could've done to make it even clearer, like interviewing a few police officers and get one on the stand to ask them how they view, and what their response would be, to a gun grab. Every cop I've ever known considers such an act attempted murder. The guy they billed as a "use of force" expert ended up just being a video geek with a silver goatee.
I'm extraordinarily glad for Kyle. I wish the immunity from civil action in WI law that applies to home, car, business also applied to "being where one has a right to be." I'd imagine there will be some civil suit faeries tuning up in the orchestra pit.
Finally, lest I forget due consideration to Lt. Governor Mandela Barnes, and District Attorney Gravely, and any other straphangers who sought to chill the right of a person to defend their life...

LHCGood question. I think he's good to go. They are going to try (as of last week before verdict) to get a straw-purchase conviction on his buddy. But they have a stretch to do that because Kyle didn't take possession of the gun, he just paid for it, friend kept it, he used it in WI on range trips, and then it stayed with friend. But it's the AFT so who knows.

The left is imploding all over themselves about the injustice of the verdict, The Daily Mail ran no less that 3 stories about it. Brandon was angered but accepted the verdict, how big of him.

Hooray for Kyle! (Was getting worried the last couple days)
Now he needs to sit down with Mr. Sandman’s lawyer and chart the next steps towards finding peace ($$$,$$$,$$$) with the MSM and those who slandered and defamed him.

He's still got legal expenses & more to come. He's said he does plan to relocate out of the area (smart) and eventually just wants to move on & continue pursuing nursing studies.
In the "Internet is forever Mr. Sandman" category, someone over at Gab has created a complete thread group to catalog everyone & everything that actually published lies or defamed him. It's quite a collection already.

Again no 2L here, but I would temper that thought.
I think any money collected would immediately be deposited in the lawyer's pockets to legate the litany of tort cases by the diseases relatives,, out as far as 3rd maybe 4th cousin.
Just because he was adjudicated innocent, does not protect him from the relative's ambulance chasers..
I wish him well.
He should be happy he won..

Oh, I agree.
Continue with his nursing degree and silently go into the night.
But, I just like to see hypocrites and liars squirm in an uncomfortable way.
This may not be over. The Conservative Treehouse is reporting that the White House is leaning AG Garfinkel to investigate Kyle Rittenhouse.

A celebration for justice! The US is not without reprieve :)
Much respect, admiration, and gratitude to the jurors who upheld justice in the face of brutal threats from the mob.
According to this, the trial was a strategy to disarm America, hard to institute socialism if the populace is armed to the 9's.

ETA: Comments that see Kyle with a future, may be wishful thinking, much like Monica Lewinsky, the trial will define his future, and limit his choices. He needs a cocoon for a few years.

I think that the young man is going to be as wealthy as Nicholas Sandman...
I suspect Kyle's team is happy getting an acquittal rather than a mistrial. :)
The judge put that decision on hold by "I'll wait for the jury decision." The only question he left on the table was with prejudice or not.

Should be the house special at every bar….:lifter
That’s good! :D
I'm of the attitude that Kyle should now sue the estates (or what's left of them) of the three scrotes for a violation of HIS civil rights; assault w/attempt; mayhem; etc. Bring the fight to them.
I also believe this corrupt DOJ will attempt to bring some BS 1983 action (violation of civil/Const. rights) against Kyle like the fuckers did in the Diallo case in New York. Absolutely ruined those Cops lives forever and none of them were found guilty or liable at either the State or Federal level. Just a fucking show trial.

Kyle may have a long list of legal troubles ahead, I don't believe the DOJ has much to go after him for but it's the "process" that hurts. And it will cost money.
I don't believe he should sue the sitting puppet in chief, but maybe try to find the person who put those words or information into the head of the sitting puppet in chief... his media manager orange girl bad on the other hand is fair game.
He does need to go after each and every public office holder, celebrity, and news personality that slandered him and defamed his name and reputation.
But he should live a very low profile, move often and change his name for protection from the tolerant left.

After the Kyle Rittenhouse verdict could a defamation lawsuit or DOJ investigation be next?
Voltaire once lamented "I was never ruined but twice: once when I lost a lawsuit, and once when I won one."
"There is also no clear basis for a civil rights prosecution. Rittenhouse is White and shot three White men. He was not accused of a hate crime. Moreover, he is not a member of law enforcement or government agency, so he did not deprive anyone of their civil rights under federal law."
"All three men attacked or threatened Rittenhouse before he used his weapon. The common law protects not just self-defense but mistaken self-defense where a person may have erroneously (but reasonably) thought that he was under attack. "
"When attacked, Rittenhouse is authorized under common law to use commensurate force. While Wisconsin does not have a "Stand Your Ground" law, the common law has always recognized such a right and did not require a person to retreat before using force."
"Finally, Wisconsin is a "modified comparative negligence" state. Accordingly, any plaintiff (or his estate) is barred if he is 51 percent or more at fault."

There is some talk of the civil torts such as the Goldman vs OJ, with OJ getting a 58,000,000 bill but I think these are vastly different stories.

However, going to full-blown mockery, that's worth a libation.
