Bread pudding, I have eaten more than my share of it in my lifetime but this is the first time I made it. Easy to make and very good. It rises out of the dish as it bakes then falls as it cools. Comes out of the oven jiggly like jello but it is done.
Comfort food at it's very best. Small serving has the sauce on it, you have to have the sauce.

Nice, I hadn’t thought about bread pudding in a long while and that looks gooey and delicious. The Old Edwards Inn’s restaurant had a bread pudding that was written up and became famous, great end to a meal of country themed food. The new Old Edwards Inn because of the massive investment and expansion into multiple resort properties most likely doesn’t any more, a big glass overflowing with sweet goodness probably doesn’t pair well with the scant fanciful offerings from their current menu...
