Just curious if anyone else isn't getting the email notifications regarding when a subscribed-to thread has been posted upon.

Go back to your settings and turn that feature off....Uh, ok. Settings default subscription option is set to Do Not Subscribe. Did you mean also to uncheck the box for receiving email from an administrator account?
I'm not tracking how that might fix the issue but I'll go with it... is it some "refresh" thing?

Yes, but randomly, maybe 3-4 @wk?
Last week or week before, PS mail was going the spam bin, but it's stopped.
I visit on a regular basis, so if a few go missing, not a problem.

I found out they were going to my junk mail box.
Suddenly mine were also going to spam, but that stopped.

I'm going to reset the way it was. Like many I'm hear often enough it's usually not an issue although there are some great threads that don't get posted on very often that are most definitely worth hearing about.
I do not have the notices going to spam issue.
I'll blame it on China for now.
