Can not verify, but the FB thought police are not blocking it?
Tina M Brown tells a story about her brothers and her ballets, one marked D and one marked R. (see attached pic)
I can't believe it's valid, but it sure looks legit?? :munchin

Since I don't do FB I can only guess as to what the issue is? What is she implying? Could it be her and her brother are registered as Dem and Rep?

She shows her ballet with an R in the reference number on the envelope, she's a registered Republican.
On her brothers, it shows a D, as he is a registered Democrat
She implies that all you need do is toss all the R envelopes, Ba Da Bing..

Knowing if it's a D or an R the decision to throw way could even be made at the election office.
Like the office where 110% voted.
A person would not know until they checked their status after the election - like in NC. Some time after the election you can go look up your page and see your voting record. Of course if you find you "didn't vote" in the last election you'll be told "too late."
For a nation that put a man on the moon we sure seem inept when it comes to minimizing potential voter fraud.
Voting should require a valid government issued ID.

We've just returned from camping in WY and often park in Walmart or casino parking lots when on the road. Last night we stayed at Isleta Casino near ABQ. Since I'm 70, I use that as an excuse to let my much younger wife do the shopping and pick up food for takeout. At the casino, she first had to join their players club by showing ID before being allowed to enter. The only food available inside was at Panda Express. She had to show her ID (drivers license and players card) to order.

Still doesn't matter. If your carrier is an activist, he/she/it delivered all of the political flyers and donation requests so they know exactly who you will most likely vote for. Then they can chose to lose it or not.

The bar code may have the D and R embedded in it to facilitate sorting machines to divert certain envelopes to the lost mail bin. No on hand intervention required.

PSM perhaps we crossed paths, just got back myself. Had the opportunity to get to a place I’ve had on my radar for 20+ years. Remote but incredible, near Mont Gannet, wind River Range. At that elevation it seemed one was almost in the Milky Way and throw in some meteors.

PATERSON, N.J. – A judge has ruled that a new election will be held in November for a disputed Paterson City Council seat, just weeks after the race's apparent winner and a sitting councilman were charged with voter fraud.
State Superior Court Judge Ernest Caposela issued his ruling Wednesday.
Alex Mendez had won a special election on May 12 to fill the seat, but claims of voter fraud were soon raised. An investigation was then launched after the U.S. Postal Service's law enforcement arm told the state attorney general's office about hundreds of mail-in ballots located in a mailbox in Paterson, along with more found in nearby Haledon.
Ultimately, the Passaic County Board of Elections decided not to count 800 ballots cast in the race.
Voter fraud charges were brought in June against Mendez, Paterson Council Vice President Michael Jackson and two other men: Shelim Khalique, of Wayne, and Abu Rayzen, of Prospect Park. An attorney for Councilman William McKoy, who had been defeated by Mendez, then successfully sought an injunction that barred Mendez from being sworn into office.
