Tears of gratitude for being adopted by Uncle Sam! I had flashback to my citizenship ceremony. I was the only one in uniform. It started snowing in the South.
I am committed to never take this gift and privilege for granted. God bless the USA 🇺🇸

It's a shame so many Americans hate America.
The Republic is gasping for breath. My heart is breaking at how so many of its people want to destroy the United States.
Our heritage is being destroyed, our history mocked as racist white privilege and our values of freedom and liberty replaced by tyranny and communist control.

As painful as it may be...it is in alignment with historical context.
Interesting in that "Tolerance and Open-Mindedness" is both the pinnacle of maturity and the tipping point for decline.
At some point an empire’s success induces complacency, arrogance, corruption and other manifestations of decay, as the comforts of civilised society give rise to expectations by the middle classes that the status quo will be maintained. The transformation of an empire from ‘barbarian’ to ‘civilised’ is now complete, and over time it will become ripe for domination by another aspirant. In the early stages of overextension, the cost to the economy of running an empire is no longer compensated for by revenue. The empire then begins to increase its debt burden, preventing a rise in military expenditure precisely at a time when it is most threatened by new challenges.
But most sheeple have the attention span of a chicken....

Didn’t the congress kritters take their toys out of the sand box and go home?
I used to take it personally but eventually realized how are you going to fix all the problems in LA...chicago...NYC...baltimore...etc...? Certainly not alone within one party, it would take some tough choices, might alienate their voters, all sides would need to participate, heaven forbid it might even take some new blood...all that might even solve some problems. No that would interfere with their personal wealth, might even uncover some crimes and with out all the chaos things might become way to transparent a bring a little focus into what’s really been going on. No they couldn’t have that! In general I’m talking about both sides of the isle.
Just my 2 cents, however I’m hopeful more and more will start to understand this charade...if not I can’t see this ending well-

Scaled-back Democratic National Convention overhauled as state delegates no longer traveling to Milwaukee, event moved out of Fiserv Forum
Organizers upended the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday, as they told state delegations not to travel to Milwaukee, moved the convention from Fiserv Forum to the nearby Wisconsin Center and added satellite events around the country.
Delegates will cast votes remotely, even for the presidential nomination in what is shaping up to be an increasingly virtual event.
Organizers also announced that large-scale events, such as a welcome reception for delegates and media and a party for volunteers, are canceled due to coronavirus concerns as cases surge in the U.S.
The decision to overhaul plans for the August 17-20 convention came after consulting with public health officials about the COVID-19 pandemic, organizers said.
The moves by the Democrats stand in stark contrast to the Republicans, who shifted their main convention events from Charlotte, North Carolina, to Jacksonville, Florida. President Donald Trump plans to accept the renomination in front of large crowds expected to attend the Aug. 24-27 event.

Organizers on Wednesday also announced that Fiserv Forum will no longer serve as the centerpiece of the convention, as all event proceedings will move from the Bucks' home in downtown Milwaukee to the Wisconsin Center.
