Guy wants to sell me all of them for $1K. Is it a deal. Many never fired. Do not have the list of what they are. Not good enough a weapons man to tell from this pic. Is this a deal I should not pass up?

If he/she lets you take a picture of their driver's license, YES they are a deal.

Should you pass, yes unless you want most of them or plan to flip them

Without better pictures, I guess street prices sold individually maybe 4000USD ??

For my money the keepers are:

Rem 870 both 2x350
Rem 7400 500
Browning Gold 1000
Stoeger 12ga 650

My $00.000002 :munchin

agreed good deal... JJ said get his ID and address of his home good idea also in case any are stolen

basic gold hunter is worth half your price. https://www.gunsamerica.com/s/browning%20gold%20hunter

but unless you want the guns or a few of them, selling .22 rifles will not get much money.
hard to see condition of the pistols from pictures

As an auction freak X10 and Being distrustful of "to good a thing." I would only do the deal upon physical inspection and transfer by FFL. No other way. If any of the offering are stolen, bad juju.

Haha...I was waiting for that. Being said, I would glom all of it for the g note. It's a rimfire centric bundle but there is a gem there for the dough. FWIW, all transfers here in NYS require an FFL, transfer fee and background check, not sure about FL. Lever action rimfires are a narrow niche, but the shotguns are worthy. Agree 100% with JJ BPK.

I think it's to good of a deal. Call me negative nancy, paranoid whatever, but look, three golf bags?? different flavor travel cases under the table??.. I think it's stolen..JMO

Or, could be some millennial getting rid of bad guns from his dads collection?? I dunno...I would get ser#'s and run them down...
JMO of course..

Thank you guys, I appreciate the feedback. Just to put your minds at ease the guy who is selling is a life long friend, he and wife are retired Navy Master Chiefs. I can vouch for them being not stolen and very well maintained. As JJ suggested, I was thinking of keeping those plus the Ruger revolver and heading to the gun show with the rest. Not sure why he does not want to sell them himself for more money, but he may just not want the hassle. Thanks again guys!

If you don't already have one, also keep the Marlin 60 .22. They are worth having in the herd as a trainer & doing that job for many decades.

IF...

If he is a GREAT friend,, I'd think about sweetening the price to 1500 USD :munchin

I told him I was looking at buying three or four guns for $1K, he suggested taking them all for $1K. He drinks enough of my booze for it to all even out!

Since it’s not too good to be true, I wonder why.
I might be reading into it but tough times indeed :(
I remember when I had to part with $8500 of my own long n short range tools, but am glad they are kept in the community ;)
