Not really (although she did point it out numerous times). The main reason was we did not want to throw the dice on having to evacuate periodically with the big storm threats. And we wanted to be on a lake with no alligators. Lol

Yep, settled down in a little spot in East TN.... and the taxes are pretty good for retired military as well.
