Case in point: SXSW music festival in Austin, TX was recently cancelled outright over Covid fears.
The 400k people attending had to eat and sleep somewhere...guess who got stuck holding the rotten tomatoes? The hospitality folks...lots of $$$ down the proverbial drain.:eek:

China has a significant demographic bubble to absorb as a result of the long term 1 child policy for most.
China’s CCP/PLA has far more to fear from its own people than any external threat.
Crashing energy prices is not a conspiracy, that’s far more likely to be a repeat of the 1980’s Oil Glut, which directly led to the collapse of the Soviet Union and Invadion of Kuwait.
Too much energy supply, not enough demand in a fragile global economic environment.
Most energy producers are going to be hurting bad in the short-to-medium term.
Few can afford to produce profitably in the $20’s
This will probably hurt Venezuela, Iran, and Russia quite badly due to their reliance on energy export income and lack of access to western energy tech.
Saudi is probably the lowest cost producer, but they will not be flush with cash, and they just started another purge to smash discontent within the massive royal family fighting over shrinking cash flow.
Exxon Mobil XOM could become one of those rare buy(and hold long term) of a lifetime once the dust settles and we find a bottom.

Is it really that much of a stretch to consider the residual benefit crashing the global economy, with America left holding the bag, while also effecting the removal of their main obstacle, Trump? Capitalizing on the opportunity to replace Trump with a malleable politician. Clinton sold 20% of the USA Uranium stockpile to Russia, Obama did not fuss over Putin’s annexation of Crimea Peninsula and he did not deploy the US led NATO missile defense in Poland or in the Czech Republic.
Trump has been tough on Russia across the board. And China has an ongoing multi prong threat against America rooted economically, its theft of intellectual property, and its intelligence service mining every avenue, just last week a Harvard Professor was arrested for the theft and transportation on biomaterial to China.
The perfect storm is an economic collapse caused by a deniable bio accident pandemic, with cascading events that first paralyze individuals, communities, regions, states, and then finally, governments around the world. Imo, China is callous enough to sacrifice millions of its people to win.

The Naval University of Engineering in Wuhan, China is run by China's TOP Bio-weapons expert Dr. Chen Wi a Maj.Gen. in the Red Army it was her lab that was the FIRST facility in China to be locked down on 2 January 2020 this was 18 days before the Chinese Gov. admitted there was an epidemic. My vote is for D, let's see what becomes of Dr. Wi, If her lab screwed up the Chicom Gov. will PUNISH her & others associated with the lab. That Level IV lab is the epi-center for the COVID-19 (a SARS-Cov2) like virus because the pathogens genome is not the exact genome of COVID-19. WAIT & SEE what happens to Dr.Wi....

Thank you Sir, for sharing that information. We were discussing the origins of this virus around here today, as am sure lots of folks are, and the origin kept coming up? Cannot imagine what might happen to Dr. WI...now that is frightening, IMHO. :eek:

Ahhhhh probably not. More than likely that was the cover story.... and it was not a good one. It has been debunked by the teams that finally got in.
They are covering up something and do not want the world to find out.
