Reforger revisited?

20,000 U.S. service members will travel to continental Europe next spring on operation DEFENDER - Europe 20. This training activity was designed to test America's ability to deploy a large scale force to Europe.

I've always thought that we should have left a larger presence there after the end of the Cold War.
