CS and home filtration??

I have a friend in HK. His family lives in the downtown area only a block or so from the protests. They are not participating and are safe for now, but they are getting CS'd. They have several IQAIR fans/filters. I told him the filters will only accumulate the CS particulate.

Any home remedies or solutions for CS gas abatement??
