B-17, 9-0-9, lost in CT

At this time there are 7 dead.

This is the B-17 that my wife and I were offered rides in in place of the B-25 we were scheduled to fly on back in March. I guess we should have taken the ride, it may have been our last chance.

Rest in Peace for the lost and speedy recovery for the injured.

Saw that yesterday. And it is saddening for the loss of those aboard.
And there is, undeniably, the little piece also lamenting the loss of another such airframe.

That plane comes to Albuquerque twice a year for rides. Prayers out to the crew and passengers who were on board.
