All within a couple days at the same hotel??
The couple were there for only 5 days.
The other lady was vacating with her husband and family.
I did a cursory google of respiratory failure and pulmonary edema and didn't find anything that fit a fast onset besides poisons.
Any guesses??
Pennsylvania woman died at same Dominican hotel five days before Maryland couple in similar circumstances
By Elizabeth Llorente | Fox News
Schaup-Werner had a drink before sitting down and snapping a selfie, McDonald said. She stood up and then collapsed.
“She started shrieking and she dropped to the floor. He attempted to do CPR, he tried to resuscitate her,” he said. Paramedics rushed to the room and injected her with epinephrine, a treatment for allergies(another article reported she carried an EpiPen for allergies), before declaring her dead.
In all three cases, Dominican authorities said that an autopsy gave the same apparent cause of death – respiratory failure and pulmonary edema, which is caused by excess fluid in the lungs. The Regional Institute of Forensic Sciences said that, in the case of Holmes and Day, further tests are required.

Update:
CNN)Five days before a Maryland couple was found dead in their hotel room in the Dominican Republic, a Pennsylvania woman collapsed and died at the same resort shortly after she checked in, a family spokesman says.
Miranda Schaup-Werner, 41, of Allentown, Pennsylvania, had just checked in on May 25 and enjoyed a drink from the minibar at the Bahia Principe Hotel in La Romana, family spokesman Jay McDonald told CNN affiliate WFMZ.
She was with her husband, Dan Werner, at the resort celebrating their ninth wedding anniversary when she suddenly collapsed in her hotel room, he said.
"At one point, she was sitting there happily smiling and taking pictures and the next moment she was in acute pain and called out for Dan and she collapsed," McDonald said.
