Today, March 6th, 1969 a bunch of wet-nosed kids marched across the stage at Infantry Hall, Ft Benning Ga and received their Butter Bars.

They were giddy, aggressive, brash, overconfident kids, that knew no bounds..

I was one of them.

To those that we have lost, I salute you and will never forget.

Roy Richardson KIA 05-09-70 101st DSC
James Stokes KIA 06-20-70 1st Cav. Jim & I were wounded the same battle about 1/2 mile apart.
