I know this is an old article but I am curious hear your opinions on this.

The Constantinople patriarch is affirming Ukrainian Orthodox Church to separate from the Moscow Patriarchate and Pope Francis says for Catholics to not mettle with it.This article in the catholic register does not make it clear what the Pope’s actual position is. However I am aware that Patriarch Kirill of Moscow is very close with Putin. Also, Pope Francis is more than ok to throw Cardinal Zen and the Chinese Underground Catholic Church under the bus by affirming the Communist chosen bishops.
