Has Australian law enforcement not heard of the Tueller Drill?

After all that time waiting for the ‘armed’ police to show up they go into a dance routine with the knife wielding terrorist who has already fatality wounded one and cut two others. And for the finale- one single shot!
When your life and business is on the line call 911 or 119 if down under. The Chippendale police dance troupe will be along shortly.
It was very disconcerting to watch the videos - the knife wielding assailant was for a short time free to engage police at will. "¡Olé!"

Those were cops? Looked like potential victims to me.
Somali refugee.
Already had his passport seized to prevent him from seeking and receiving OJT in a conflict zone.
Was not under surveillance at time of incident, but reportedly had been previously.
It’s pretty simple.
Don’t import trash, and if you accidentally do, send it back.

This seems to be the de-facto response whenever terrorism occurs; "the attacker was known to law enforcement". I often wonder if this is just standard press release bs. I tend to think that it is and that it would be more terrifying to the general public if they admitted that they never heard of the fucking guy before.

That’s standard government response for; “we failed to deport this individual or incarcerate him the first seven times he was arrested or interviewed by police.” And, his lengthy file has been used to recruit him as an informant within the community!”
Merkel's welcome has consequences.
The total number of offences involving a knife or bladed instrument that have been recorded by cops in the year to March 2018 rose to 40,147, a seven-year-high.

Seriously who cares? Knives, acid, bombs, who cares.
I personally don't care if all of europe burns to the ground, they voted for this, this is what they deserve. Beta males wanting to be "ruled" by the global elite, 'cept the global elite, well they have their own "armed" bodyguards. The rest of the european trash are not allowed to defend themselves.
Socially, the correlation between migrant influx and assaults, utilizing knives as a weapon of choice is interesting. Especially in a country that has banned individual ownership of firearms.
According to the F -B- I, knife killings in the USA, far exceeded every other method, except for handguns to terminate someone life.

That said, the argument to ban/control firearms, does little to prevent the determine individual from choosing a different weapon. Utilizing that logic, banning guns only transfers weapon choice, proven by the social decision to ban guns in England and certified by Scotland Yard crime statistic.
It’s virtually impossible to ban knives. But the new approach by the progressive left to ban guns, takes the issue through a new gate. Their narrative now is a comparison of reasonable inference, and employs the social control granted to the state, to issue and define everything concerning motor vehicle operation and control.
Age requirement, testing, driving with and without supervision, national speed limits, uniformity and consistency, from local roads to interstate hwy’s, a system has been built that is both familiar and conceptually viewed as safety first. This is the new narrative of the anti-gun lobby, which presents a reasonable socially accepted, proven method of control. It will be argued to subjugate your 2nd amendment rights.

Wait till they tell people "You have to pay $200 and apply to the Bureau of Earth Lovers for a stamp to take possession of your V-8."
Many of the countries that are experiencing this blessing of 3rd-world behavior also under-report their stats, due to cultural gentility tendencies; you can't get 'em to say 'shit' to describe what they're standing in if they were in a prize-winning Iowa hog-farm. Hell, in Sweden it isn't helped because rape is way under-reported to begin with, because no one wants to go to the cops and say something bad - about anything, that such a thing could happen - least of all when involving their darlings they welcomed with open arms. Simply pure denial & such people cannot be helped on their own, especially when, down deep, they know they're complicit in the problem. Remember where the term "GWOT" went once certain deniers got into government?
As TS said, they've sown it, they'll reap it.
