View Full Version : B-Team Ban Me Thout
I was with B-210 when it moved from Pleiku and opened in Ban Me Thout end of 1964. I think it was down town behind the MACV compound. Thinking back, it was at a bad location for defense. Does anyone know what happened to it during the Tet Offensive?

There is a bunch of VFOG's (Very Freak'n Ole Goats) that have their special place.
You might want to join them, as I know there are several still with us that were at Buôn Mê Thuột
Welcome to the Special Forces List (SFL) Website, home of the SF List, a members-only shared E-mail list. The members qualify for membership by serving in the U.S. Army Special Forces as a fully qualified member of a Special Forces team. Many served in the Vietnam War, but the general membership spans the history of Army Special Forces units from 1952 to the present, with many still on active duty.

I like the way you think........... :)
I think my father in law was around that area then. His early days were around the delta. He's mentioned Ban Me Thout several times. I believe he was at or around canal seven?? The area where Nick Rowe was scarfed up?? Anyway.. He's a VFOG also. He's 85 Now...
