"Retired Sgt. Maj. Ernie Tabata helped train generations of Special Forces engineers before his death in 2015.
Over 67 years of service as a soldier and civilian, Tabata became a legend in the special operations community — a mentor and role model who was revered on Fort Bragg and abroad.
Tabata’s legacy in Special Forces now will live on through the dedication of a training complex in his honor........."
Well deserved honor.
