Hospitals in Mayor Sadiq Khan’s London resemble those in a war zone, a senior surgeon working to save victims of the capital’s surging violent crime wave has said.
The shock comments made Thursday morning come after two more men were killed overnight, a couple of days after another night of violence saw a boy, 16, stabbed to death and a 17-year-old girl shot in a “drive by”.
Wednesday night’s killings, both in Hackney, East London, brought the death toll from suspected murder in the capital to 50 so far this year, pulling away from New York City, which London overtook at the weekend.
Dr. Mark Griffiths, the lead surgeon at Barts Health NHS Trust in East London, said that knife and gun wounds had moved from a “niche” part of his job to a daily chunk of his workload, and a growing number of victims were “children”.
“Some of my military colleagues have described their practice here as similar to being at [Camp] Bastion,” Dr Griffiths told the Today programme on BBC Radio 4.
“We used to look after people in their twenties. Now people are often in their mid to late teens and children in school uniforms are being admitted under our care with knife and gun wounds.”

You knew that was coming I think we all knew that a country disarmed and liberal will be more violent and I am sure this is not the whole story as far as statistics
And this is why I don't trust statisticians well not them per sey but those who set the parameters....its the same crap these sanctuary cities have done by intentionally leaving out information or not allowing certain crimes to be factored in or even reported by LEO's.

As one of my statistics instructors said, “with statistics I can prove anything!” It’s just a matter how you ask the question, qualify (or don’t) the statements, narrow your controls. Yeah, 100% of the people I asked if the either do or would be ok with owning a gun said yes! Just happened to be asking people standing around inside a gun show...
and based on my polls I will win the next presidency. I polled at 100% of the voters, size of the polling sample was 2, my brother and I.
I like picking apart poles and statistical research. A good statistician is a gold mine for politicians. Let’s not let the truth get in the way of a good sound track.

Yes very strict gun control is the issue in both gun control leaves citizens disarmed against predators and is the equivalent of OSHA for criminals.
Good attitude about statistics most of the time it is a sample of the population that is used or as your professor pointed out I can omit data criteria or carefully select whom the pollsters actually poll....I have only been polled once or twice and even within SOCOM the command climate survey is a poll however the multiple choices give very little options that represent your true opinion the questions on females in combat were crafted to force you into being agreeable by keeping the questions reduced to questions you either agree with or by not agreeing just shows you didn't really read the questions.....then you might get 500-1000 words in addition at the end of a section to explain which if you are being honest will contradict the previous multiple choice answers.....nearly 80% of the force disagreed with the idea and yet the Command went with the 20%......so who is willing to sit down and make the effort to be heard the next one that comes around??? yep the 20% the agreeable ones....so in a microcosm of society these surveys are manipulated the same way as a public poll by isolating, discouraging, tricking and cornering people into supporting the agenda the difference is our surveys are command directed and their are witch hunts when someone has a particularly impacting disagreement within units and retribution.

LONDON—In response to a recent outbreak in fistfights, London mayor Sadiq Khan announced Monday a sweeping ban of hands in the city, effective immediately.
“No excuses: there is never a reason to have hands in a modern, civil society. Anyone who does will be caught, and they will feel the full force of the law,” Khan said at a press conference announcing the new policy during which he revealed that he has had his own hands surgically removed as a good-faith move to jump-start the new regulations.
Along with the new hand-control measures, Khan announced a new task force focused on purging the city of hands, as well as an expanded police presence focused on stopping and searching citizens who they think may have failed to have their hands removed from their person.
At publishing time, rumors were swirling that the mayor was planning on banning feet after two handless men got into a quarrel and began kicking each other.
