Have you guys seen these? Apparently it's a thing now - gun owners posting videos of themselves destroying their AR-15s

I'm not sure why they were afraid their gun was going to hurt someone - did they believe it was going to develop a mind of its own and start killing innocent people? Or were they afraid of themselves and their own mental stability? If the latter is true, then I applaud their actions, but if they are afraid an inanimate object is going to activate itself and start killing a la Transformers movies.... well.... I'm not quite sure how to break it to them...
Then again, notice how the guy in the video only sawed through the barrel? A new barrel, gas tube and foregrips and that thing is as good as new....
If comprehensive legislation is ever passed authorizing confiscation of AR15s, maybe thats what we all should do - send the gov't videos of ourselves sawing our evil weapons in half.... (after we've ordered the appropriate replacement parts, that is :D )

It's nice to see mentally ill people disarm themselves.
One was his real rifle taken apart. the one he cut was a rubber duck look at the hand guards.
I threw all of my tactical gear, guns, ammo, knives, and all of my Rush Limbaugh books into the ocean in protest quite some years ago...
...all I have left is a few 'I'm with Her' bumper stickers and a coupon for double barrel 12 gauge since Joe Biden DID recommend that I "buy a shotgun"
I'm just so afraid that if I just walk out on the balcony and fire two blasts, that I might hit one of my dogs........
...edited to add: it did my heart good to watch that video - young people need a good role model that demonstrates the safe use of power tools - eye and ear pro before cutting

Once the liberal socialist & communist in Congress start to change The Constitution and The Bill of Rights America will be on a path similar to Germany in the 1930's. Yeah, and many commenters pointed that out. They may have disabled the video because it's not loading for me now, either.
