Gents,
Navy EODC Chief Petty Officer Kenton Stacy has been attached to my ODA in support of Operation INHERENT RESOLVE since August. He was severely injured this week by an IED after helping us liberate key terrain from ISIS during the conduct of follow-on stability operations. He is an amazing man who became a trusted member of our Detachment by virtue of his character, bravery, and professionalism. He personally put himself in harm's way countless times to keep me and my guys safe. We are forever in his debt.
Now his family needs our help. He and his wife Lindsey have four children, one of whom is special needs, and the stress that is about to be put on their family would break any average person. His injuries will require a lifetime of support, and I am asking anyone who can spare anything to visit the link below and demonstrate to the Navy how we rally to the aid of our wounded SF brothers and their families.
Anything will help, and if anyone has anything beyond money that they would like to offer please PM me. The Stacy's are based out of San Diego and after some intensive care in San Antonio he will eventually make it back there if all goes well.
Thanks in advance.
