They can't bring themselves to reason that armed customers may have deterred further shooting of unarmed customers by the bad guy.

I'll trade having other armed Wal-Mart customers around me with police having to take the additional time to figure out the bad guy every day.

Here in Texas there probably would have been even more armed customers.

Such an easy solution - I don't know why liberals haven't already drafted legislation to address appropriate clothing for active shooters.

The active shooter is the one shooting...
...everyone else is NOT the active shooter.

The guy on the floor in a pool of blood surrounded by 7 people with shopping carts and pistols...
...probably the guy that USED to be the active shooter.

The folks clearly protecting nearby people by NOT shooting them with their pistol...

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but I've always wondered.

A bunch of CCW's draw in a situation like this
It's hard to distinguish the bad guy
You see all manner of people with their weapon drawn

Surely there's a high risk of a chain reaction, were the less cool headed, less trained individuals start pointing weapons at other weapon holders demanding they drop their weapon etc, or even worse, start shooting each other.

How the hell does this not happen? What am I missing here?

It is exactly because the image of the typical gun owner that "carries" as being an uneducated hick that is just looking for an excuse to shoot a minority in cold blood is mostly reserved for MSNBC or the rank and file democrat looking for a chance to forward the agenda.


The truth is, most gun owners that carry concealed weapons with the intent of protecting their family or others are good people that are responsible enough to know that the real world is not an x-box game being played on 'nightmare' level.


...the question I would counter with is, why would you expect anything less out of responsible gun owners?

Let's say I was in that Walmart, and I was carrying. I hear shots, look around and draw my weapon and keep it at low ready.

Depending on who I'm with I might choose to move tactically towards the fire, or move to a better defense position, and wait it out.

By the sound of it, in that Walmart, I would have seen / been seen by half a dozen other lawful CCW's, it's not like we can recognize each other as not being the bad guy.

I can imagine an almost comical order of events were lawful CCW's are yelling at each other to drop their weapons, or worse yet engaging each other, under the not necessarily incorrect assumption that I'm the bad guy.

I get a police unit moving in, you know each other, but a random collection of honorable citizens could turn into a cluster fuck most ricky-tick.

My training is limited, so what am I missing here?

You are asking great questions though, something most libtards will never do to understand why everyone didn’t shoot each other. If you look at the comments on that daily mail article, you’ll see the brainwashed ones unable to grasp this concept.

This picture is from the Ft Lauderdale shooting. It shows what body language is for people that are NOT the shooter(s). This is basically a “Gun free zone” (airport), but it is outside and potentially many of those people could be armed.

Other pic is body posture of cops in a defensive posture. Imagine them in street clothes, not uniforms.

Very difficult to find a pic of actual armed citizens taking cover that demonstrate this probably because these things always happen in “GFZs”

the british government removed the british citizens right to defend themselves hundreds of years ago and it still stands today.

The "news" source is a socialist/communist british government controlled media.
