It is all over the news that Richard Hatch, the first survivor has been indited by the I.R.S. for failing to pay his taxes. I am thinking that there has to be more to this story. I am quite sure that the I.R.S. took their share right off of the top before Hatch ever saw a penny. Perhaps he failed to claim all of the peripherals.
Jay Leno says that now he'll have to learn to survive in the shower room. :D

Actually it would appear that he tried to hide the Million dollars that he won on national television...in front of millions of viewers...some of whom were probably IRS agents. What a genius.

I don't think he would mind the shower room.
If he can hide a million bucks in himself, I would say he's got a career as a gun runner coming up.

The IRS hadn't taken their cut, as Survivor did not do any backup withholding; they just mailed him a check. There is also another count, for failing to report earnings on a radio show deal.
I wonder if he can turn around and blame the TV show for not withholding taxes?

That "exteme home makeover" is a little disturbing. I'd like to see those homes five years later. The one they just built in LA for that parapalegic basketball player...was well done.
