Superhero's never really die. Ryan Reynolds starring as Deadpool "died" in one of the early X-men movies and yet several years later he had his very own blockbuster movie. Superman "died" at the end of the last movie, but I have no doubt that he'll be back. Hell they even killed Spock off in the wrath of Kahn only to bring him back in Star Trek III, and they killed Captain Kirk off in Generations before rebooting the character with Chris Pine where he "died" again in the Star Trek into the Darkness.

Logan may have died at the end of this movie but that's only because Hugh Jackman got to old to continue in the role, so they killed him off. In two or three years they'll reboot the character with a much younger lead and he'll be off to the races once again. Too much money left to be made in that character for Hollywood to do away with him for good.

TS,

You gotta admit...it was one of the best comic book movies yet. The ending was more than a little bit emotional.

If it makes you feel better, I'd be willing to bet there will be a Hugh Jackman cameo as Wolvie in the next Deadpool movie.

Deadpool was the funniest movies in a long long time. I'll miss Hugh Jackman as the Wolverine.

in the previous movie, the Wolverine, his counterpart told Logan that's he's a soldier and that he seeks a good death. Further, she foresaw his death https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JgnEn__sExw

In the end, Logan died a good death, while holding "his heart"

I saw it as a modern western movie, not superhero. It has all the elements..... life, love, loss, death.

Absolutely hilarious. If you get a chance to watch it in 4k glory don't miss it.

I really hope fox continues to go down the R rating path with films. They have made a lot of missteps over the years.

And on a different note, Sony is producing a VENOM film with none other than Tom Hardy in the role. I have very high hopes for that.
