We got ourselves a true believer here. She did not try to conceal or hide her treasonous activity. How many more out there?

Poor tradecraft all around on her part and the news outlet.
Her facebook page shows the underlying ideology all along.

Now a hero of the left.
So this chick (with an interesting name, by the way), printed out top secret information. She then transported that information out of what I am assuming is a facility that is secured to some degree. She then mailed it, and had she not put her return address on there, would have pulled off her heist.
So... the newspaper turned her in then?

I wouldn't compare her to Snowden. She did it because she is upset that Hillary didn't win the election.
I think this may turn into a reverse Manning??

How the hell do these people get TS/SCI clearances?
How the hell do these people get TS/SCI clearances?
THAT is the question. A youngster focusing on these languages could be a good thing or a really, really BAD thing. At any rate, it should hoist a freaking red flag the size of Texas.

There have been no serious consequences for the last several people who compromised their integrity and stole classified info.
If they had strung up precious little Bradley Manning, instead of letting him out early, giving him special benefits to support his transformative surgeries, and given the Hildabeast a couple of decades in confinement, there might be some apprehension about stealing classified.
As it is, you are more likely to be punished for failing to initial off on the safe opening form than for stealing large quantities of classified data.
There need to be consequences. Then people might take this more seriously.

She is just a POS, too bad we don't shot people anymore for treason. Instead we pay for a sex change operation for Manning and Snowden avoids extradition thumbing his nose at the US. I am ready to start a new business, making Guillotines all the rage again.:munchin
A quick browse of who she follows on Twitter is a quite simple and obvious revelation.
What I find most troubling is her mimicry of certain language(rarely used words and phrases) which is worthy of further investigation in terms of specific leftist influence.

Exactly. I looked into her posts as well, just another anti-trump radical bern-out. I figured people within these agencies would regularly have their social media posts screened, I guess not. Once again another shining example of leftist dominant institutions.
Reality Winner, a 25-year-old Air Force veteran, is a contractor with Pluribus International Corporation ...
Air Force officials confirmed that Winner served active duty from December of 2010 to last December.
Winner attained the rank of senior airmen, E4, and was last stationed at Ft. Mead (sic) in Maryland.

How about 25 years old, not a 25 year veteran.
E-4 after six years in the Air Force (Dec 2010 - Dec 2016), not a fast mover.

That is certainly the perception. Bolded, italicized, and underlined for emphasis.
Kind of like how when you walk past a deficiency, you acknowledge that is the standard. The last few years haven't been the best for the IC.

Heh, she should've shut up. Without her self-professed intent she'd have had a Comey "ticket-to-ride." (Then again, maybe they had an inkling about her & fed her a little electronic piece of barium to pop the flare.)
Separately, no matter what happens to her, imo, the Deputy AG's comments (any AG) about holding people accountable are trivial until Klinton is measured for an orange jumpsuit & Obama is called to shame publicly for flagrantly using Gov't agencies as weapons against the American people.

The same way barry soetoro did......... he would have never been allowed to hold a clearance otherwise.

How the hell do these people get TS/SCI clearances?
Not only that, but how in the hell was she able to print out classified documents, the contents of which she had no need to know for her job, and then WALK OUT OF THE BUILDING WITH THEM?
It seems to me that OPSEC is no longer the priority that it was even fifteen years ago; and that is LITERALLY killing us.

Like this wonderful couple here! And Trump predicted Wiener receiving classified material from his wife. This is what reopened the Clinton investigation days before the election.

Well based on a few news stories, The paper contacted a contractor that worked at NSA GA, due to the Augusta, GA postmark and asked if the document was authentic. The contractor reported the contact to the NSA. NSA investigators saw the document had been folded, from the scan, so knew it was physically removed. They just looked at who had viewed the document. Next is that when you print on any colour printer, it shows in a hidden dot matrix with the name of the printer and the time it was printed. Six people viewed the doc that day. One printed it. Easy to find her.
Call it tinfoil, but it is really bizarre that her name, REALITYWINNER totally sounds like a random name generated government program cover name.
As far as her clearence, only thing I saw that might trigger an investigation was her tweeting that she supports Iran. Political remarks are more difficult.

Mom of Alleged NSA Leaker Reality Winner: ‘She’s Not a Threat’
AUGUSTA, Ga. — The family of an intelligence contractor who allegedly leaked a highly classified document about Russian interference in the U.S. election told NBC News that "she would not jeopardize anybody's safety."
Reality Winner, a 25-year-old who worked at the National Security Agency, has been charged with providing the report to The Intercept, an online news organization. Winner's mother said her daughter was "terrified" when she returned to her Augusta home Saturday to find armed federal agents waiting for her.
"Her words to me was that she was scared she was going to be ... they were going to make her disappear," mother Billie Davis-Winner said Tuesday.

They should quickly scan employees' social media accounts, suspend those who mirror hers until they are able to conclude they are not insider threats, and hang her for treason.
She used her access to specifically find information that could cause exceptionally grave damage to this nation...and willfully and intentionally provided it to someone who was not authorized to receive it with the sole purpose of damaging the CINC.
I hope they expedite the trial...and move quickly to find the rest of the f'ing insiders.

A federal prosecutor said in court that authorities had uncovered a series of “new and downright frightening" other acts by Winner, including inserting a thumb drive into her Air Force computer and taking classified information while she was still in the military.
“When you take a thumb drive in a top-secret computer as she did, we don’t know what happened to it," U.S. Magistrate Judge Brian Epps said at the hearing. “That falls into the landscape of danger to the community but it is also a danger to the nation."
In denying Winner’s request to be released while awaiting trial, Epps also cited her journal which federal agents found during a search of her Augusta home. She allegedly expressed support in her writings for Taliban leaders and Osama bin Laden as well as proclaiming she wanted to burn down the White House.
“She seems to have a fascination with the Middle East and Islamic terrorism," Epps said. He quoted her as having written: “It’s a Christlike vision to have a fundamentalist Islamic state.”

USB Port unavoidable, There is not a PC made for the last 10yrs that didn't have a USB port(S). My current build has 6.
Now,, A PC in a secured environment should have had the IT Security ADMIN go into BIOs and disable these external ports, as SOP..
99% of the sheeple would have no idea how to twerk a BIOs,, but if they did,, it would be an easy conviction, as you can't say I did it by mistake.. It shows intent..

There's a reason you are "investigated" for a top secret clearance. The morons that did hers need a different job, like flipping burgers at Wendy's.
When I was in and held a TS/SCI we removed hard drives at the end of the day and locked those up. Be just as easy walking out with a hard drive.

Drain that swamp! The people that Team Sergeant spoke of that need to be flippin' burgers are also the ones pencil-whipping PR's (which at this level occur at least twice as often, or supposed to). And the average -2 section is so sensitive to PC that being made aware of derogatory information (like, I dunno, say, from one's open social media postings hostile to US interests) likely gets shit-canned, hoping the reporting source will go away.
This will be one of those teachable moments; my money is not on the right lesson being taught & I'd truly love to be wrong.
