ETA: On the afternoon of 22 May 2013, a British Army soldier, Fusilier Lee Rigby of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, was attacked and killed by Michael Adebolajo and Michael Adebowale near the Royal Artillery Barracks in Woolwich, southeast London. Gotta watch those anniversary dates.

Not so much "anyone" but not having a path to assimilation is problematic. Much of this recent wave has no interest in being "American" or "British" or "French" it's just about relocating to a spot where they aren't getting shot at. Never realizing that the beliefs they hold are the very reason why they are being shot at. It's cultural and generational.

Oh I agree, that it's not just "anyone," foreign migrants of any nationality that don't have a vested interest in their new land will always be problematic to the people who do assimilate because they know or feel better about their situation.
Europe will feel the pain and wrath of their open borders to the point of open warfare on neighborhoods and the communities that harbor the 1%ers that cause trouble. It's already happening in Belgium and parts of France. The German police I have spoken with hope to hell Merkal is ousted and replaced by a moderate or right leaning opponent before they too have to take back their country.
As far as I can tell, London has fallen and they will have to regain the high ground neighborhood by neighborhood and school by school to identify the threat that lies within.
Dunblane and Hungerford, will eventually be looked back on as a minor footnote in the history of England.

I have spent considerable time in the UK, specifically London area, because my youngest and her family live there.
I have eaten, shopped, and wondered around and was impress with the many that are living & working & trying to assimilate.
CAVEAT: I can not tell who is who. In a curry shop, on the street, in a taxi, you need 40 languages to determine who is who. I suspect few can. Those of us that want to know are a minority. The mainstream want to keep their heads in the hole..
The UK has hundreds of years of colonial rule and has had "open" borders for those colonials that want to emigrate.
Because the UK IS and HAS BEEN an open border community for a very long time, they are now being taken advantage of by the same "colonial emigrants" that use to love the UK..

It's been covered here before but am still puzzled why the conversation is still about the illegal immigrant's human right to emigrate anywhere in the World.
Should we not be having conversations about compatibility as a prerequisite? I was definitely taught this country was established on the basis of religious tolerance. So how does one tolerate a religion of intolerance? This week alone we were exposed to several messages about killing the unbelievers ( Kafir/infidel ), I must have missed the ones by Muslims about tolerance or criticisms of the violent approach of their brothers and sisters.
The liberal viewpoint in many Western countries certainly flies in the face of reality with the ramifications all around us to see :confused:

The BBC’s Katty Kay has come under fire for a video in which she appears to suggests Europe “has to get used” to attacks like yesterday’s fatal bombing in Manchester.
Footage uploaded to Twitter by popular conservative personality Jack Posobiec shows Kay reacting to the bombing on air as footage of emergency workers and horrified bystanders flashes beside her.
“Europe is getting used to attacks like this,” she says. “We have to, because we are never going to be able to totally wipe this out. As ISIS gets squeezed in Syria and Iraq, we’re going to see more of these kinds of attacks taking place in Europe and Europe is starting to get used to that.”
Needless to say, this does not sit well with many people, who are now attacking Kay – a woman who, just hours before the attack, criticized Trump’s “simplistic strategy on Jihadism” that might arguably be able to prevent Europe from having to “get used to” the slaughter of its citizens.

While unclear if this is an official release - recall, earlier in the day UK PM Theresa May said authorities knew the name of the Manchester attack suspect but were not disclosing it until they were certain - moments ago CBS reported that the suspect behind the Manchester attack is 23-year-old Salman Abedi. As CBS also adds, he was known to authorities.

The concept of combatants and non combatants in the context of warfare is unique to western civilization. Confining attacks to combatants and legitimate military targets (factories, shipping, infrastructure, etc.) is a characteristic of a professional military familiar with the laws and customs of warfare. Almost everybody else considers any aspect of the enemy's territory or population to be "in play".

The suicide bomber who killed 22 people and injured dozens more at the Manchester Arena has been named as 22-year-old Salman Abedi.
Born in Manchester in 1994, the second youngest of four children his parents were Libyan refugees who came to the UK to escape the Gaddafi regime.
His parents were both born in Libya but appear to have emigrated to London before moving to the Fallowfield area of south Manchester where they have lived for at least ten years.
They had three sons in total and a daughter, who is now 18-years-old.
Abedi grew up in the Whalley Range area, just yards from the local girl's high school, which hit the headlines in 2015 when twins and grade A pupils, Zahra and Salma Halane, who were both aspiring medical students, left their homes and moved to Isil controlled Syria.
There were unconfirmed reports in Manchester that the whole family apart from the two elder sons recently returned to Libya.
Abedi was named by Greater Manchester Chief Constable Ian Hopkins on Tuesday.

There is a partial solution to all this...immediately round up family, friends and associates closely tied to the perpetrator(s) and deport them back to where they came from. (Exceptions can be made after thorough vetting and interrogation of said individuals but all forms of identification will be collected and used in a data base to track the whereabouts as needed.)
There is one and only one way to avoid all the unnecessary scrutiny, and that is to rat out or snitch on your son, daughter, friend, father or mother as the case may be. Only then will you have clemency or immunity from deportation or prison.
The "subject" was being watched by police/government, or had been under investigation by same is getting to be a recurring theme here. :mad:

First no not return the body parts to the family ever. Start rumor that the body parts have been mixed with pig blood and then cremated.
Change immigration rules so that anyone returning to their home shithole must reapply for entry. Take all family, friends and other Mosque members social media and phone records. Use this as a basis to decide if any of them can stay in
GB. Hold all social welfare money and benefits until the investigation is complete.

I cannot understand the ignorance of the left, and politicians who continue to not see what is right in front of their faces. Last night it emerged he had only just returned from war-torn Libya before launching his horrific attack and was seen as the 'face of hate' among some neighbours.
British-born Abedi had spent time in a conflict zone - possibly Syria - before slaughtering 22 in a suicide bomb atrocity at Manchester Arena on Monday night, it has been claimed.
A friend of Abedi, a Mancunian of Libyan descent, said the attacker had returned from a three-week trip to Libya - also an ISIS hotbed - just days ago. He is understood to have made regular journeys to the North African country in recent years.
It was also claimed last night that he had travelled by train from London to Manchester on Monday in advance of the attack. This has raised suspicions that he may have met co-conspirators or been supplied with his explosive device and was effectively being used as a 'mule' by an as-yet-unidentified bombmaker.
French interior minister Gerard Collomb said this morning Abedi is believed to have travelled to Syria and had 'proven' links with ISIS.
Home Secretary Amber Rudd said the 22-year-old was known to intelligence services 'up to a point' and that it 'seems likely' he was not acting alone in the run up to the massacre. Hours later, police in Manchester revealed three men had been arrested in the south of the city.
